So I think that people are associating the oud note in this with “old”/ “grandma”. They don’t know either, they didn’t claim that’s the reason to be fair. Anyway I’m assuming that’s what is happening there. I don’t see it, but to each their own.I actually get in the dry down whatever flower note takes over in LBDS, maybe orange blossom - tuberose or something? I don’t remember. Sort of bubblegum-y which I love so much. Nice surprise. Everyone’s different I guess!I wouldn’t say overall this is extra super gourmand on myself, it’s very sweet sure (caramel shines and the vanilla nicely) but it settles fresh and sweet.It’s very tolerable for me and feels like a nicely blended perfume and I haven’t even let it sit for awhile. I’m excited :) nice valueThe item:- the cap screws on tightly, no leaks in shipment and I don’t foresee any- the rollerball is totally fine? I see a lot of comments about it but it dispersed product perfectly, no problems

Sooo surprised by the quality & longevity of this; was a total blind buy. 100% recommend to gourmand enjoyers. It smells very similar to Prada Candy at first, then melts into Burberry Goddess (at least for my body chemistry.) It's sweet and sensual, and it's got a very natural vibe. Lasts forever, too - I put some on at 9am, then reapplied at around 3pm (just because I couldn't get enough of it tbh) & it's still going strong at 11pm!

Much sweeter than I thought it would be. Will give it to my daughter instead. It’s definitely a smell for a teenager or a younger woman. Lasts decent amount of time on skin. This scent is long- lasting. Don’t believe what other reviews might say, because I received the roller yesterday, applied the perfume on my wrist and could still smell the scent this morning. So Golden Sand is a gourmand scent. It’s a mix of vanilla, amber, cocoa, marshmallow and musk. It’s warm, youthful, flirty, inviting, cozy, feminine sensual and comforting all at once. In my opinion, a perfect Autumn/Winter scent for either daytime or casual dinner date. It’s not flirty in the fruity or flowery sense, it’s like a yummy “I can’t stop smelling you” kind of dessert scent, and I got so many compliments on it.Another important thing to know..I’m highly allergic to a lot of synthetic perfumes out there. You know, rash, itchy skin etc., but this oil-based perfume gave me no allergy issues whatsoever. So ladies, if you’re looking for that cozy, yummy gourmand scent without smelling like a pumpkin, this would be a great choice!

ok so from my point of view, in the beginning it almost smelt like sweet chest vapor rub lol. i let it die down and it smells of a light but sweet vanilla, alil bit of flowery smell, its slightly warm, alittle definitely goes along way bcuz its strong. if i had to compare it to anything it would be a dupe of love dont be shy by killian. Im not a huge fan at the moment but i will try a rub on my clothes and see what my husband thinks. overall 3 stars at the moment. good size and longevity for the price. i would say try it on someone else and see what you think about it lol. i did this with my sister and i was jealous it smelt good but i felt differently about it on me.

This oil perfume is decadent. You’ll smell like an expensive snack. Be prepared to be asked what scent you’re wearing. Marshmallowy but not overpoweringly sweet. It smells sexy but not musky. It’s a perfect year round fragrance. If you like Love Don’t Be Shy, you’ll love this.

Straight up honest review. This was a steal . I was wanting a Gourmand vanilla scent to later with Burberry Goddess or Cozy Vanilla Bourbon… this nailed it. I don’t get the fruity vibes at all. The scent, IMO, is a warm chocolaty vanilla. Simple. I love it . It’s good on its own, but really shines when layering as a base for a perfume with complimentary notes. I get Vanilla, chocolate, a nuttiness like Tonka bean maybe. Melts into a cozy, buttery and warm vanilla. It smells absolutely delicious in its own.I tested the longevity on its own and clocked about 6 hrs of scent, which is awesome for the price. It’s portable, so easy to reapply if needed.As a base when layering fragrances ( because what are you even doing if you’re not layering ), I smelled the oil underneath my $90 perfume for about 10+ hours. It isn’t harsh and overpowering like some perfume oils can be, it’s actually quite soft and easy on the nose so initially you may not think you’ve used enough, but this lil bad boy has great silage. I’m going to order a few and let one sit to see if it macerates. 9/10 for sure. Safe to blind purchase. Oh, and I’ve thrown this in the bottom of my purse and Fanny packs…no leaks or oily bottles.
