She was on oral antibiotics for a month and didn't eat for almost as long, about a week before she started the meds and two-plus weeks after. I tried everything: tuna, Churu, turkey, ham, milk, CatMilk, cheese, you name it. She walked away from everything except these treats, which I tore into tinier pieces. She eats a little dish of these every day now, and her appetite has expanded to include her chicken Temptations. I honestly think my kitty would have wasted away if not for this chicken. I am now subscribing and will feed her what she wants for as long as she wants! Thank you, Stewart's!SIDE NOTE: Beef livers are also excellent for dogs. However, I had a horrible experience with my last order of the salmon product, which was more skin than fish and very poor quality. I don't recommend it AT ALL,

I bought these for my little dog who is very picky about what she eats. I like the fact that they are 100% chicken breast and totally USA sourced and packaged. But even more than that, my picky little dog loves this treat! The pieces vary in size from about thumb size to crumbs, but my dog will lick all the crumbs out of her bowl to get every piece. But what a pleasant surprise that one of my cats likes these treats more than the dog! Now if I feed one, I have to give the other treats too or they snatch it from each other. I am very happy with this product.Update: I just ordered another container if the freeze dried chicken, and opened it today. The first thing I noticed was the dark brown color, then a weird chemical smell. The chicken was overly dry and I will not feed it to my dog or cats-it is going into the trash. I don't know what happened to Stewart's quality control, but this totally unacceptable. Buyer beware.

While my dog LOVES this treat, for this price, I would expect that half of the product to NOT be nothing but crumbs. An absolute minimum of half the bucket was nothing but fiber left over from the top pieces. If I'm going to drop $40 on treats for my dog, I want at least $35 of it to be in the form of a treat and not fibers that she won't even bother to lick off the floor.Edited Review....I decided to order twice, simply because I was hoping that I was wrong and simply got a bad bucket. But no. Sadly it was even worse. My miniature schnauzer does not chew her food and instead woofs it down as if it were a bite. So I bought the slo-bowls to slow her down which thankfully has worked tremendously. I included 2 pictures of her food bowl. One before I spread the kibble and what has now become "food bowl topping"...well, because there is no other use for this product than that. Literally. SHREDS OF CHICKEN BREAST. I may order it one more time simply to weigh the amount of actual treat size bites (for a small dog) versus the amount of chicken breast "shreds" that are in the bucket. Will update the review if I choose to do that. But these pictures, which did not exist in my first review (see above the "edit" comment), do my review justice and I would love the company to do something about this but unless I returned it, I could not contact the seller and tell them what their packaging is doing to their product. Do not buy this if you are searching for treats. Especially if you have large dogs. This is insane. I simply cannot believe what lay under the pretty pieces of chicken breast which is less than half of the bucket / claimed size of bucket of "treats" you will receive if you choose to order it. Good luck everyone. I hope your experiences have been better than mine with the chicken (the liver is 100% 5 star review...this is only a review of the chicken breast product).

My children visit with their dogs and cats AND when they walk through the door they start looking for these treats. I have purchased others to which both felines abd canines turn up their noses. They WANT THESE TREATS AND NOTHING BUT THESE TREATS. I am talking about a large old mixed breed dog, plus two small pedigreed and one small mixed breed. In addition, there is the cat. ALL WANT THESE TREATS AND NOTHING BUT THESE TREATS from the minute they walk through the door.It is amazing to me that they can find these within a minute of entering the house no matter where they happen to be when they come. I subscribe to them so as not to disappoint them. Love the way the pets respond to them.

I have two golden retrievers. One is 5.5 yrs and the other 4.5 mo. This is my go-to for teaching new skills or tricks. I can break it into tiny bits in my hand because I don’t want the chewing on treats to distract us. The chicken breast is perfect for this and it keeps them VERY motivated, where beef liver chunks are too hard and chicken liver breaks up to dust a lot of times. The chicken breast is low calorie and easily digested so truly perfect. I break them up ahead of time so when my hand goes into my treat bag, I’m all quick to reward. I love that it comes in the large tubs too. I was pleasantly surprised that the tubs I get from Bolo have not arrived with chicken dust. Also the price, though has risen (what hasn’t in the past year?), the 14oz size is roughly the same price as the local box store sells the smaller tub. Highly recommend for dogs of any size and age for training when high value treats are what is required. Picture shows half used bucket that shows it’s still nice large chunks, not dust.

Started using these when my dog got gastritis and needed a bland diet but doesn't like going without treats. He loves them but because they're freeze dried they are very insubstantial so he can gobble them up like nothing.
