All genuine Tiger Sniper Cue tips will have the name, the year it’s made, Tiger logo and Made in USA. If it’s not on the back end of the tip, then it’s not genuine Tiger tip. Sniper Laminated Cue Tips are made from a boar hide that is tanned the old fashioned way, under the ground. Treated slowly and without any chemicals, each hide takes up to a year to tan completely. The hide is then treated in the factory to give the Sniper tips characteristics that will improve your game. The VACULAM is a unique vacuum lamination process that eliminates air between the layers and within the leather. Tiger has also added a new treatment - "APP" advanced Pressurized Process, to make these cue tips adaptable to any player or game, regardless of style. Black layer will warn the player when to think about changing the tip, while giving the Sniper its genuine look. Great quality tip. It was easy enough to attach, shape, and make ready for playing. Haven't used it yet, and will update once I do. This tip replaced a 20 year old tip from Talisman that had served me well "took a 10 year break from playing and tip had degraded in storage" Hoping I get the same results with the new tip as it was a budget friendly addition but certainly doesn't look or feel cheap in any way.

Every now and then somebody talks me into trying something else....I've tried nearly all of them....and always come back to the Tiger Sniper. IMO it's the best tip out threre.

My cue came with a sniper tip. Played very well. When it came tip to change tips I wanted to try some different hardnesses and maybe different brands. So I did. Decided to return to sniper and mounted one on my cue. Went to shape it and as I did the tip began to delaminate. Never had that issue with any other tip.

Love this tip. I get way more ball control and draw. It beats predator victory and kamui clear. Love the look and the line that shows you when to replace. New ones only come in 14mm fyi so you can always cut it down to your size. The numbers in it shows you what year it was made. You can find older years that have13mm still.
