Bought these to make for our Easter cream tea and was impressed with how good they are! We purchased the orange cranberry flavor. Easy to make and everyone loved them. Will be buying this mix again in the future.

Some of my favorite memories are of going to The Puyallup Fair! Every year I looked forward to the fresh baked scones and strawberry jelly. They practically melt in your mouth. I was thrilled when I found these Fisher scones on Bolo. I ordered these and they came quickly straight to my home. The secret to these scones is to add cream. Shape them into a dome and slice into triangles and bake them with parchment paper. These scones taste just like being at the fair! I make them for my family and have even made them fresh as gifts for my neighbors with homemade strawberries and whipped cream! These are the best tasting scones Ever!!

If you've ever been to the Western Washington State Fair you know these scones. They are so melt in your mouth fluffy scone. I was thinking of them the other day but I now live in Arkansas and didnt know how I would get...Bolo. I purchased a 3 pack for $23.99 which is about $8.00/box. It seemed a bit high as the last time I purchased in the store they were about $4.99/box. I really wanted them so I broke down and purchased. Still worth it thought, nothing like a fresh out of the oven scone.

I had had this before and loved it, but on my last visit to the grocery store it was gone. No problem, I thought. I tried the other kind there (a "scone and muffin" mix; I was skeptical, but it was my only option). This was an abomination. Basically scone-shaped muffins. Way too much sugar, moist and crumbly. Not scone-like remotely.Thank god for Bolo for selling these. A 3-pack is a great value, as I use only half a box per batch. You literally can't mess these up. You add water and then knead them into scone shapes. That's it. And they come out perfectly, barely sugared, firm, and ready for butter and jam (I was astonished when I posted about them on Facebook and almost all my friends said they didn't understand the appeal of scones, thought they were dry, brittle, and tasteless. They haven't tried these!)Please don't ever stop selling these, Bolo, they are the best scones I can find this side of the Atlantic!

Fisher Original Fair Scone Mix, 18-Ounces (Pack of 6) is excellent. More than 50 years ago, when we attended the Seattle Worlds Fair & the Western Washington State Fair in Puyallup, we enjoyed Fisher Scones. They are fast and easy to make. You can get the dough ready while the oven heats up. They cook in 14 minutes. Hot from the oven, slathered in butter and your favorite jam, they melt in your mouth!There are some disclaimers that moan about the fat content. These are a form of biscuit, not kale! It is true that there is 96 grams of fat per box. A box makes a dozen. Gosh sakes, your not going to eat twelve scones, any more than you would eat a dozen doughnuts! None of the 2.5 grams of fat per scone (same as in a biscotti.) is Trans Fat. Believe me, I am reading the box as I write this review. There is No Trans Fat.I make several kinds (like raisins or cranberries) and freeze some of them. Then, warm one up for that special morning treat for your self or for guests.
