Not sure what I was expecting… I have always used human toenail clippers for the cat. This tool seems easy enough to use -light and small in your hand. Easy to hold with a squirming cat. Not a total game changer. I will probably swap back and forth tools. Much easier to use on a cat than the old dog nail clippers.

These seems to be good quality and easy to use. I have a large dog with very thick claws and I couldn't clip them with these. The time it took me to apply enough pressure he was already getting irritated and pulling away. If you have a large dog that doesn't have really thick claws I'm sure they would work great. They are easy to hold and appear to be pretty sharp. The design is comfortable in your hand. I don't want to rate them poorly given the thickness of my dogs claws.

Sharp and easy to use clippers. Use them for multiple dogs and they do not pinch or buckle their nails at all.Very functional and well priced.

Arrived on the date it was supposed to arrive. Very good clippers and the guard is perfect as it doesn't move. Going one trim every 7 days to reduce the quicks that got way too long, unfortunately. My dog isn't scared of the clippers and only tries to pull once or twice when I am fiddling with my angle of cutting. Perfect weight, design for comfortable grip, I don't think mine had the file in the package though.

I have a cat that does not like getting groomed. This nail clipper allows me to cut my cats nails with ease, It is sturdy, not heavy, perfect design to clip nails without cutting down too much. easy to clean simply wash when done, I have it now for a while and it does not show any signs of rust.

Way too bulky and not sharp enough. Maybe the smaller ones would be easier to use but these are too big and difficult to handle.

Pretty sure if you asked my dogs, they would give this zero stars, but the nail clippers do work well.Both of my dogs (Labrador and a small mixed breed) have solid black nails, so the quick guard was a promising feature when I decided to purchase these.I have it use a little more pressure on my labs nails than expected, but the clippers cut them with no issue.
