I love trying out new hand creams, so I ordered this one from Oxford Biolabs to try. I found the cream to be hydrating and soothing with a light fragrance, but not at all greasy.The cream is quite lightweight, almost like a gel-cream. It absorbed into my hands very quickly. It left absolutely no greasy or oily feeling on my hands. It left my hands feeling soft and temporarily evened out the wrinkles in my hands.The product has a light fragrance that’s powdery and maybe something like baby powder. The scent dissipates quickly.Overall, I think it’s a good choice for a non-greasy hand cream to have around for dry weather. I think it’s a little expensive, but seems to have been formulated with care.

After several days of twice-daily use, dryness and tightness diminished noticeably, especially on knuckles and between fingers. The cream works well in dry, indoor environments and holds up for several hours even with light handwashing. It does not pill when layered over clean skin and spreads evenly without needing much product. The formulation appears suitable for individuals with sensitivity to stronger fragrances or alcohol-based products.
Endlich mal eine Handcreme, die nicht nervt
Ich habe schon einige Handcremes ausprobiert und war oft genervt davon, dass sie ewig nicht einziehen oder so eine fettige Schicht hinterlassen, mit der man dann nichts anfassen kann. Bei dieser hier ist es anders: Sie fühlt sich beim Auftragen erstmal reichhaltig an, zieht dann aber doch ziemlich schnell ein und die Hände sind danach einfach angenehm weich. Kein Schmierfilm, kein Klebegefühl – genau so mag ich das.Gerade wenn die Hände mal trockener sind, merkt man direkt, dass sie mehr Feuchtigkeit bekommen. Die Haut wirkt gleich entspannter, nicht mehr so strapaziert. Den Duft finde ich auch angenehm dezent – er ist da, aber nicht so stark, dass er stört oder einem "aufdringlich" vorkommt. Das macht sie für mich total alltagstauglich, weil ich sie einfach zwischendurch benutzen kann.Ob die Creme wirklich noch einen "Anti-Aging-Effekt" hat, kann ich nach der kurzen Zeit natürlich nicht beurteilen. Aber für mich reicht schon, dass sich die Hände gepflegt anfühlen und ich nicht das Gefühl habe, gleich wieder nachcremen zu müssen.Alles in allem: eine Handcreme, die im Alltag funktioniert und sich unkompliziert benutzen lässt – und das ist mir persönlich fast wichtiger als große Versprechen.

This is a light textured hand cream which is great for everyday use but I probably don’t think it would significantly benefit very dry skin but as it’s described as for normal - dry I’d say that’s about right. The cream does feel like it has a good water / moisture content and I don’t need to use too much. It rubs in very quickly and absorbs quickly too with no stickiness whatsoever, it has a light fragrance. I use this at bedtime and my hands do feel soft and smooth on a morning.
Crema mani di ottima qualità, che nutre e non unge
Premetto che sono fissata con la pulizia delle mani (con sapone antibatterico) e quando mi trovo fuori casa non lesino l'utilizzo di igienizzanti, per cui la mia pelle (già di suo secca e sensibile) soffre abbastanza questa mia premura, a volte un filino eccessiva. Proprio per questo, l'utilizzo di una crema mani che sia non solo idratante ma anche nutriente è importante per mantenere in salute l'epidermide, garantendo al contempo che le mie mani non vengano scambiate per carta vetrata. Ho provato volentieri questa crema Oxford Biolabs (marchio che non conoscevo), e devo dire che ne sono rimasta molto soddisfatta: il prodotto non ha una particolare profumazione (ha un leggerissimo odore naturale che magari non piacerà a tutti, ma che comunque svanisce subito) ed è altamente efficace senza ungere. Quest'ultimo particolare è per me importantissimo, perché davvero non sopporto sentirmi le mani appiccicose o vederle lucide; posso però assicurare che la crema (di cui ho prelevato una dose generosa, come si vede dalla foto) si assorbe nel giro di pochissimo, non lasciando alcun residuo e andando ad agire in profondità. Anche dopo più di mezza giornata, le mani risultavano ancora morbide e idratate, segno che i suoi nutrienti erano penetrati. Personalmente mi sono trovata molto meglio rispetto ad altre marche più blasonate, pertanto ne consiglio assolutamente l'acquisto; se è vero che il prezzo (euro 10,95 per il tubetto da 50 ml nel momento in cui scrivo) non è basso, bisogna anche dire che a volte ci troviamo in casa (o in borsa) tante creme mani di scarsa qualità, quando invece è preferibile averne una sola ma buona. Aspetterò di vedere come si comporta con l'arrivo dell'inverno e dei primi geloni (dato che vivo in Pianura Padana, dove tra freddo e nebbia le mani sono messe a dura prova, specie se non è possibile tenere sempre i guanti), e se soddisfatta la riacquisterò senz'altro. Per il momento la promuovo a pieni voti!
