Looks good, smells good, tastes good. Ultra convenience, and makes for a great pantry staple. I would even add it to longer term pantry needs as it can be consumed direct from package or takes very little effort to prepare it. I love adding a portion of it to quick soups. What I do is take some left overs from the fridge-- usually assortment of vegetables, then I make a quick broth, and add in some of this rice to round it out. I dont usually need to use the whole pack, and I am a big eater.I still stack lots of dry rice, but having stuff like this is incredible for its convenience and that I can having something to eat if the power goes out and I dont want to fuss with trying to set up a cooking station outside, etc.

Ever since I had c-ovid in 2020 it seems like my sense of taste is not as good. Most things I eat don’t taste the same. My wife bought the Ben’s rice in the microwave package. It also had little to no taste. I thought maybe, just maybe, it’s different than the boxed rice. IT WAS !!!The boxed type had the full original flavor I remembered. I ordered 2 cases to make sure i had plenty👍

Used to be called "Uncle Ben's", but now is "Ben's Ready Rice". It is still the easiest to prepare--just 90 seconds in the microwave for perfect rice. The Jasmine rice is my favorite, but I also like the white, brown, and wild varieties from the same brand.

I keep several packs of this rice on hand for quick meals. Making as a side dish or inside several items like burritos/ stuffed peppers/ quesadillas. It takes 90 seconds to heat and I’ve never had an undercooked bag. It also reheats easily in a microwave.

We have been long time consumers of this rice brand. This batch seems to be without the same full flavors as before plus it gets very gummy. We will finish this batch but probably not purchase online again.
