My purchase criteria was to find one that covered the whole windshield without any gaps.I ordered this sun shield based on the product description and the fact that it had various sizes. I input my 2008 Toyota Highlander in and it said the Large size would fit.I ordered this in the evening and it arrived the next day, so I was able to use it immediately. Overall, the sunshield did in fact fully covered the windshield in my Highlander. I was able to block out all of the sun light, except for a small patch by the rear view mirror. If there is one flaw, it is that there is not a cutout to go around the stem of the rear view mirror. So what happens is that you just have to push down the cloth where the rear view mirror stem goes and make sure to minimize the size of the opening to prevent any more light from entering the car. But that is a minor thing, considering the shield fully blocks the sun at the edges of the windshield. After using it, the car did still feel warm inside, but significantly cooler than without the sun shield.The sunshield also includes a little cover for the steering wheel. There is a flap at the top of the cover that you can slide over the top of the steering wheel. To be honest, it looks a little funky when the steering cover is installed and I'm not quite sure that little cover is all that functional other than advertise the brand of the sunshield. You could get away with not using it. The main benefit really comes from a well fitted sun shield that keeps the car cool, prevents sun damage to the top of the dashboard, and the effects of sun on the seats.Folding this shield can be tricky. I read the instructions, but you are better off watching the video on the Bolo product page. You have to fold the sun shield in half first (the right half and the left half), then with the two halves on top of one another, do the twisting thing. I was able to do it somewhat successfully, although most of the time I'm just going to take the sunshield, fold it in half, and throw it into the backseat.I wanted to order a sunshield for my other cars. However, it said that those cars (Camry, Lexus GS450h) also needed a six Large sunshield. I've seen some reviews from Camry owners that said the Large was too big and they ordered the Medium. Pro Tip is to take the Large I ordered for the Highlander and try it on my other cars. If it is too big, then at least I have some confidence a Medium may work better. I'll update this review after I test it out on those other cars.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This shade WORKS. I live in a southern state and my garage has a window. I have gone through many blinds that bend, sag and allow an unwanted person to peek into my garage. I hung this over my garage window and it totally blacks it out. It works so well that when I am standing on the outside of my window at night with my inside garage light on. Not a pinhole of light comes through. Zero. Nothing. It is an unconventional way to use it... But it works perfect.

Pictures can be deceiving. I currently use this and while it does block out the sun's rays and cover the majority of the windshield, it does not cover 100% of it and there are spots around the corners that sees sunlight. The material is great and it is very flexible as well.

Great product, needed this for my 2022 Subaru Impreza. The parking lot at my office is under direct sun light, no shade. This helped a lot. Car is much cooler. The steering wheel shade that comes with it works great in the driver side window for extra shade. Folds and stores super easy.

Fits the windshield as it was recommended for my vehicle. Great quality, keeps the heat down in my car, and protection for my leather. Love how easy it is to close it up and store it away easily when not in use. Even came with an extra for the steering wheel, might just use it on a small window if needed.

Followed their chart for my car's make/model, but the shade is too large. It doesn't lay well against the windshield, always messes up the rearview mirror, and I think it will tear sooner than it should because the two wire circles are always squished awkwardly and straining in the center. It is also not as smooth to fold up as the previous brand I had.

Works very well and is easy to use and store. How did I go this long living in Louisiana without using these?! The summer heat here is brutal!! I leave my car parked in an uncovered parking lot for work and this tremendously has helped reduce the heat in my car. Oh and can’t beat the price!!

It works good enough, but not perfect. The window shade fits a bit awkward because the dash is different than in previous models. The steering wheel cover does not fit well in a 25 Expedition because the wheel is smaller and rectangle shaped.

A bit flimsy (not stiff) when in place, mine was not tall enough so could not even hold it in place with visors. On balance would recommend external type with ears that are trapped in the doirs
