Sometimes I put pecans or walnuts instead of almonds, whichever is on sale at that time, but always containing ONLY ONE INGREDIENT.PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE: I do it directly with 2 slices of canned pineapple in the mixer and 1 cup of 100% coconut water and nothing else.BANANA SMOOTHIE: Also directly with 1 banana cut in slices in the mixer and 1 cup of 100% coconut water and nothing else. But drink it quickly before it gets the color of clear chocolate milk in just a few minutes. In my haste shopping for 1 carton of Iberia organic coconut water to try before ordering 12, I did not recognize this single carton is not organic. It looks like I will have to order by the dozen to get organic, which I hope tastes even better.
