Overall I’m very happy with this Kayak. Easy to inflate, stable my only real complaint is lack of leg room. I’m 5’7 and 175 lbs and have long legs. Next summer I’m trying a paddle board.

I bought two of these last year for my wife and myself. Today we finally got out on the water. Let me tell you this. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN! These kayaks were easy to inflate. They are stable. Easy to deflate. Over all I would recommend these to anyone just starting out. Im really glad I bought them!

Bought this as a gift. I would not buy one. Hard to inflate. Valves leaked when I took the pump end off that I could not get the top back on fast enough to stop the air. It said to use the wrench to tighten the valves, which I did but that did not work. Time ran out for return so I had to just eat the money I spent. Got tired of messing with so I just threw it in the dumpster. Go the extra money and get a real Kayak.

Haven’t used yet as still too cold. Very easy to assemble. Pump works great and fast. Hard to get all the air out to repack easily but with some work it can be done. Can’t wait to use!!

I've used my Intex Challenger one person inflatable for four seasons as an option for those times when I don't have help getting my hard shell kayak on and off my roof rack. I'm a 70+ woman, reasonably fit, and have no trouble lifting this kayak and carrying it. It has enough legroom for me at 5"10" if I lean my feet a bit sideways. It inflates quickly (55 or so pumps per each of the 2 valves plus a few more for the inflatable seat, takes about 5 minutes in all). Its handling feels a little tippy, especially if I"m not well centered in the boat, and the nose wiggles with each paddle stroke, but the keel works well to keep it more or less on track and definitely helps to resist wind blowing the boat sideways. The upside is that turns on a dime - fun! The pump and ingenious 2-way valves work very well together although if the pump, which is plastic, ever broke I'm not sure if a standard bicycle or air mattress pump would work. Complete deflation and drying the boat take time, as other reviewers have noted. I've solved this issue by squeezing out as much air as possible and then leaving it unfolded outdoors in the sun for a few hours after use; it continues to deflate completely. It fits well in its tote bag when completely deflated, although the bag itself seemed to degrade and tear after I've occasionally left it out in the sun over the years. Haven't tested its resistance to punctures but the plastic seems fairly heavy duty and a patch kit was provided, just in case. Definitely worth what we paid for it in making the lake accessible for a pleasurable outing as a solo paddler.

Nice little kayak. Blew up easily & firmly. Paddled pretty straight due to decent keel. Not much vertical space to slide your feet into (feet ended up 'sideways') but leg length space seemed fine to me (I'm around 5' 8" size 8.5 shoes).As expected, harder to fold up than to unfold but the 'carrier' bag is big enough that you can get it back into it easily (even with collapsed paddles & a life jacket but without the air pump). Also, as expected, hard to dry the inside whether filled, 1/2 filled, or void of air.
Excellent value and easy to use
My wife and I have found the kyacks very easy to use. As first time kyackers these were a great entry point for us. We even take our dog kyacking with us, placing a mat for her to sit on.Paddles are a little weak but for us they are fine. Will probably look to buy better quality ones later on.They are sturdy enough that my wife and 30kg dog are comfortable and maneuverable. We have found them very stable, even with a wriggly, excited dog :)Overall, excellent fun, great value and a fantastic way to get into the activity.
Cheap way to enjoy water life!
I have two of these. So i can take someone with me sometimes. But mostly i go alone to enjoy the peace on the water.Very easy to setup, and also easy to put back in the bag. Nice and complete set.Great for the summer!
Tolles Hobbyboot, klare Kaufempfehlung!
Ich habe ein Kajak für Einsteiger gesucht, um hin und wieder am nahe gelegenen Badesee ein paar Runden zu drehen. Der Preis ist im Vergleich zu anderen Modellen sehr günstig, was mich etwas skeptisch gemacht hat. Allerdings ist alles top!*es ist alles dabei, was man für den Einstieg braucht - Kajak, Luftpumpe, Paddel, Reparaturkit, Anleitung und Tasche. Die Qualität von Luftpumpe, Paddel und Tasche ist nicht besonders hochwertig, aber ausreichend für ein Hobbyboot.* das Kajak ist schnell aufgebaut - ein paar Hübe mit der mitgelieferten Luftpumpe füllen die beiden Luftkammern ruckzuck auf.*das Boot liegt stabil im Wasser, und auch der Ein- und Ausstieg klappt einwandfrei. Der Boden wird richtig fest, nicht wie man es vielleicht von Luftmatratzen gewohnt ist. Nichts biegt sich durch. Der Sitz ist bequem, allerdings bietet der Fußraum nicht allzu viel Platz. Ich passe mit einer Größe von 1,74m hervorragend herein, mein Freund ist mit ca. 1,80m schon zu lang um bequem sitzen zu können. Er hat sich deshalb für ein anderes Modell entschieden.* das Gepäcknetz ist vorne am Boot angebracht und somit auch während der Fahrt bequem zu erreichen. Man braucht keine Sorge haben, dass es auf einem ruhigen Gewässer von Wasser überschwemmt wird. Lediglich Spritzwasser von den Paddeln und dem Wind lässt sich nicht vermeiden. Hinter dem Sitz ist außerdem noch Stauraum für die Tasche, Luftpumpe und Co.* die Ventile sind klasse. Nach dem entfernen der Luftpumpe entweicht keine Luft und man kann sie in aller Ruhe zuschrauben. Beim Ablassen der Luft einfach das Ventil am unteren Ring aufschrauben, und das Entleeren passiert fast von allein. Ein riesiger Pluspunkt!* das anschließende Zusammenlegen ist super einfach und das Kajak passt wunderbar in die mitgelieferte Tasche. Hier ist außerdem noch bequem Platz für den noch aufgepumpten Schwimmkörper und die Luftpumpe, sowie eventuelle Kleinteile.* zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch keine Aussage treffen, allerdings wirkt das Material sehr robust und dürfte auch kleine Begegnungen mit Steinen unbeschadet überstehen. An unserer Badestelle liegen oft Scherben zerbrochener Flaschen, weshalb wir aus Sicherheitsgründen für den Aufbau eine große Plane mitnehmen - ich möchte das Material nicht überstrapazieren. Die Plane verstauen wir während der Fahrt einfach hinter dem Sitz.Alles in allem bin ich begeistert von dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und würde jedem Hobbyfahrer unter Berücksichtigung der Körpergröße dieses Kajak empfehlen. Einfach top!!
Leisurely Kayak
When I first bought this kayak I was fully expecting to be returning it given how inexpensive it is. I took it out and was pleasantly surprised, it’s a great product.Not very heavy and can be folded/compacted for storage unlike other kayaks. Great for leisure not for intense white water rafting.It does take a while to inflate using the pump that comes in the box. If you want speedy inflation it is recommended to purchase an electric pump separately.There are two holes. One on top and another inside on the side wall. Each opening has two screw caps. The top cap is best for inflating the bigger/bottom cap is best for deflating.Happy kayaking everyone!
