A must have for any Scifi Fan out there. Firefly is a fantastic show and its awesome to have this physically so I can watch it whenever I want.

I am rating the programming, not necessarily the specific BlueRay package.Firefly is one of my favorite SciFi series of all time. It had great casting of diverse, multi-dimensional characters who form a somewhat dysfunctional "family", develop over time, and grow on you (to the point that you care what happens to them), unique and interesting plots (often with twists at the end), wry humor, a ship that takes on qualities of an additional character, and an internally consistent surrounding "universe". Firefly had most of the elements that gave the original "Star Trek" its generational staying power, with upgraded edginess and production values enabled by 36 years of societal and cinematic development. It compares favorably to even more recent SciFi series in a similar vein, like the Expanse. Firefly is definitely worth watching, even twenty years after its original premier. The Firefly movie - Serenity - is even better (in my opinion), and shows what Firefly could have developed into over a couple of years, if Fox had launched it right, and had the foresight to stick with it and develop it into a multi-decade franchise (ala Star Trek) instead of canceling it due to disappointing short-term ratings (more echoes of Star Trek).

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Series, Get Serentiy While You're At It
Series is great, only ten episodes but be sure to get the Serenity movie in your chosen format (I went 4k, looks great). This copy looks great, its shiny, audio is good, keep in mind this is an older series meaning it was never in hi-def to begin with. Watched it with the kids for the first time and everyone seemed to enjoy it binging 2-3 episodes at a time.

I wasn't sure if Firefly could be upscaled/reimaged but it's good. Lots of really great landscapes in high detail, well worth the upgrade.

Loved this show. The CGI isn't the best but the story line and the acting make up for that. This Blue Ray set has all the episodes in chronological order which makes it easier to follow than the dates that it aired (part of the reason no one got into it first time around). If this show came out now on one of the streaming services, it would be a hit. (Prime - take note!)I really liked this Robin Hood gang that was always trying to do the right thing which may not have been on the right side of the law. The show is a SciFi Western. Sounds strange? Watch it and you will like it too.Too bad the TV network had to ruin it and cancel it early. They showed episodes out of order and sometimes went weeks or months between airing the next installment. Luckily, they made a movie called "Serenity" which would try to tie up the loose ends the series left when it was cancelled. This box set has a actor cards and a small poster in it for the fans.
Great Christmas present
Christmas present went down a treat. Excellent purchase for a fan of the series in my case, but imagine anyone interested in the genre would be happy with it too.

Todo fan de "Firefly" gozará con esta edición. Está muy cuidada, en una caja muy bonita con una apertura muy atractiva.Incluye postales de cada personaje, mapa de la Alianza de Planetas y la serie en dos discos. Estos discos vienen en un estuche plegable de cartón, muy bonito, cubierto de imágenes muy chulas, pero que se despega con facilidad, las dos partes en las que van guardados los discos. Una pena, ya que este detalle (pequeño pero importante) empobrece un poco un producto por lo demás bueno y bonito.Los capítulos sí que se pueden subtitular en español, pero los extras no pueden subtitularse, ni siquiera en inglés.
Imprescindible en la videoteca
Edición de 3 bluray excelente producto, no es edición especial o colección, buena relación precio calidad
