While this design doesn't have the 2 flip-up arms, it fits the Hyundai Palisade perfectly. This is by far the best non-Hyundai engine air filter I've tried for the Palisade. I like that it has the extra liner around the top edges to ensure a snug fit. As a person who has worked in the automotive industry since the early 90's, I know the importance of having a quality engine air filter and I find these affordable enough to change every 8000 miles (far more often than the recommendation). A clean filter gives your engine the right amount of air, helps with performance, and engine life. Highly recommend.

Replacing the Hyundai Palisade's engine air filter is SO EASY thanks to the intelligent design and placement in the engine compartment. In fact, it's so easy that I think Hyundai is trying to encourage owners to do it themselves. The Fram filter appears to be very high quality and every bit the equal of the OEM filter. Unlike the OEM filter, it does not have the locking tabs on each side, but fits into the slot snugly and cannot move once the access door is closed.

After a little research, I found that it would not be hard to replace the engine and cabin air filters in my 2021 Hyundai Palisade. I was nervous because I am not knowledgeable with cars, but I will tell you that a child could’ve done this. It took no time at all and was ridiculously easy. I read the reviews and it seems to be a great filter. I am very happy with my purchase and I will definitely buy this again when it is time to replace my filter. However, to be fair, the ease of changing the filter should not be credited to this product, Hyundai should get the credit for having the foresight to make it easy for the end consumer. However, the reviews I read and my experience have been very positive and so I will definitely buy this again in the future.

The dealership was charging $80 to install a new filter...save yourself the money and do it yourself. This one fit perfectly and it took 1 minute to replace. Check out a YouTube video if needed but it's super easy. Of note, the OEM part does have locking tabs on it but the new replacement filter does not as it isn't needed. The locking tabs only pressed the filter in tight, but this one is already a snug fit so no locking tabs are needed. NOTE: If the cover won't close, the filter is in backwards so just turn it around.

I change my engine air filters every year, and this is a far less expensive option than paying the oil change shop to do it. Very easy to do - took about three minutes!

Whether it has the locking tabs or not doesn't matter so people should feel less outrage. In this case it has flex plastic pieces that hold the filter in place. Dealerships and Stealerships sell them like that too. stealerships in my context are dealerships+point systems (markup) like go auto in canada. This product is a good fit and good quality heft and feel. I can buy an identical but branded filter at the dealership for 17 dollars. The same thing costs me 30 at the stealership, but you get 'points'. Yes go auto customers, that much cost difference. That's all just fyi, I had the need and both the dealership and stealership are too far away for my circumstance so the fact I could get the filter and Bolo didnt charge me MORE, is I guess good. Can't fault Bolo for selling a good product.
