Both have beautiful optics. I really wanted to prefer the Leicas, because the Zeiss’s were so grossly over packaged. In the end, the wider field of view and slightly better handling of the Zeiss binoculars won out.

I love these BUTthe dipotric knob does not stay where you put it so i returned them and they sent a new one.The second day out the new one the dipotric knob feel off and I lost it.Returned again and they put a new one on.

I was looking for a high-quality pocket glasses for nature observation and sightseeing tours. In the beginning I was thrilled with the weight and image quality and was intending to submit a review of a fully satisfied customer. Fortunately I did not have time for it. Unexpectedly the adjustment nut was fallen off. So now I feel a very deep frustration with these glasses and the producer as well. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

I bought these over 20 years ago and I have Zeiss and Leica. I have carried these all over the world into the harshest environments and they are wonderful ! Optically gorgeous and can easily and VERY comfortably go into any pocket. They are so easy to stow and carry they are the bino there is never a reason not to have them with you! Caps? At some point you have to decide do you want the easiest to carry or have to use a case. With these I tie the strap up short and carry in shirt pocket or in a belt case. They are perfect! I hope Zeiss never changes them!

Compact, lightweight, easy to handle. Excellent depth of focus, wide field of view, brilliantly sharp clarity, waterproof and non-fogging. Even the storage case is tastefully designed. Stabilized view minimizes shaking image when focused on an object. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but this is a Zeis!
Exceeded expectations.
