Through my years, I’ve just owned a couple of volume pedals…one being the Yamaha pedal which came w the KX-88 and now this one thirty-seven years later. That Yamaha pedal didn’t communicate WELL with the new Roland Fantom 8 EX so started reviewing pedals. The other reviews didn’t compare to the Hammond’s reviews. I own a Hammond XK-5 which replaced my XK-3 and the Hammond pedal, I’ve had for many years, still worked perfectly.This one is exactly the same quality and weight without the big toe switch on the side for the Leslie speed. It is totally compatible and, after using it live w the Fantom, it is wonderful!!! At the end of our set with full strings & pad on hold, made a perfect decline to zero as the lights dimmed with the pastor beginning. Both pedals have no problem staying at the angle where you left them.

It’s just as good as the one I used to have on my Hammond B3. It’s not quite as loud, but I’m sure my neighbors appreciate that!!!

I own two Hammonds and this pedal feels and reacts very similar to the real thing. Before this, I was using a Boss volume pedal and just never felt or reacted right. If you’re looking for the real feel and reaction and don’t mind the price tag, you’ll be happy with this pedal.

Just started using this pedal and it’s great. Unfortunately the only bad thing I can say is that it doesn’t have the B-3’s volume pedal range of motion. Because its arc is smaller it means the pedal is a lot more sensitive than normal. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. Working on getting used to the sensitivity but other than that I love it. Really helps bring color to the portable organ (I use a Hammond XK-1).

I tried my Yamaha Pedal with my SK Pro and it worked, but not well. Even with the suggested settings the Yamaha is as only partially successful. The Hammond EXP 50J worked out of the box with the kind of feel and expression you would expect on a classic Hammond Organs. Super well made, heavy metal, and comes with a detachable cable which can be replaced separately from the pedal. It’s the real deal and definitely made all the difference in my Hammond SK Pro experience.

I'm a seasoned professional musician who has played his share of older Hammond organs over the years. This pedal authentically duplicates the swelling volume pedals (of older Hammonds) for the Japanese Hammond Suzuki models. I have tried other volume pedals like an FC 7 but they didn't have that authentic feel. It's pricier than a typical volume pedal. But if you're looking for the authentic feel of the pedals that used to come attached to the big old Hammonds this one is worth the price.

Habe vorher für meine Hammond XK-4 verschieden Volumenpedale ausprobiert.Auch mit der möglichen Programmierung des Lautstärkestellers in der Hammond konnte ich keinen zufriedenstellenden Verlauf Weg programmieren. Nach kurzem Pedalweg war fast die maximale Lautstärke erreicht, der Regelbereich war zu klein. Mit dem EXP-20 ist der Volumenweg ohne weitere Programmierung in der Hammond ideal. Das Pedal ist leicht beweglich, wie man es für die klassische Hammond Orgel gewohnt ist. Auch dieses Pedal in der Kunststoffausführung macht einen soliden Eindruck, zumal ich das Pedal nur zu Hause benutze.

立ってオルガン弾く人は辞めた方が良いです。
携帯性に優れているのは評価できるのだが、プラスティック製なので強度が不足している。ロック系の立ってオルガンを弾く人は辞めた方が良い。ペダルに体重が掛かってしまうと割れてしまうようです。オルガンのエクスプレッションは感情表現に不可欠だが、小さくて不安定なので操作性も悪いのが大きな欠点です。大きくて強度の優れたEXP50を買った方が絶対良い。半年あまりでプラスティック部分が破損して交換して貰いましたが、すぐに駄目になるでしょう。自宅ではEXP50使用しているので月に1-2回スタジオでの使用と数回のライヴでの使用のみです。次壊れたらもう1台EXP50を購入するつもりです。これは頑丈ですのでお勧めします。サイズもちょうど良いし、金属製です。座って弾く人にとっては問題ありません。4点です。小さいから1点マイナス。立って弾く人にとっては1点です。だから評価は2点になります。
