I only needed a new outer shell for my worn-out key fob, and this case worked perfectly. No electronics or circuit board are included, so be sure you’re just replacing the housing. It was super easy to transfer the internal components—no reprogramming needed. The fit is snug and matches the original design exactly. Just a heads-up: make sure your original remote doesn’t have a red or green light—this one isn’t compatible in that case. Great quality and value for a quick DIY fix!

Perfect for my 2008 Toyota 4Runner! Looks the same as the stock key fob, just missing the Toyota logo. I was really sad when my original key fob broke, thinking I had to get a janky one, but the quality of this is great! Looks the same! Functions the same! Easy to set up! Doesn’t feel cheap, feels the exact same!

Fantastic! My FOB exploded in the street and I failed to pick up all the parts. I was so relieved to discover that one could order the plastic case (this item), and keep the old electronics, this avoiding the need to reprogram the key. This item is wonderful. FIt and finish are excellent- the electronics slipped right in and the case snapped shut with a solid click.

Impedes button function
Unfortunately the new shell impedes the button functions. Lock works, but the other buttons do not work at all when in this shell. We’ve confirmed it is the product but testing the buttons both without any shell and with the old shell.
