I don't eat beef so was looking for a high quality marine collagen. This collagen does not smell and is also flavorless. It mixes in hot coffee easily and doesn't clump. It was suggested to me by doctor because I have acid reflux and I drink black coffee on an empty stomach. He said that isn't good and you should always pair food with coffee so he suggested I put collagen in my coffee along with taking a supplement called Refluxter afterward to prevent reflux. So far so good and I am happy I'm getting some fat free protein now in the morning along with my coffee.

So, I have been taking liquid collagen w biotin product from Costco for about a year. Taste good and easy to take daily mix w my drink. Then I heard about this fish collagen which supposedly the best to absorb into body due to size of the partial is extremely smaller than the other collagen product. So, I have been researching about the fish collagen. Then, many of the review mentioned about the bad smell or taste, so had concern. I have been reviewing thru some of the product via Bolo then I thought I should try this product. Received yesterday but thought of people's comments in review, I didn't even want to open the container. Then, just now, I decided to try. I am a coffee drinker, so brewed fresh coffee and mixed a big scoop of powder. This powder is very fine and smooth and I smelled before mix w coffee and no smell at all. The powder mixed very well in a hot coffee. I had to mix w spoon a little but it was like same as when you mix powdered coffee creamer. Mixed well fast. Then I added my hazel nut flavor liquid creamer about 2 tsp as usual. I got scared but tasted a little first. Oh my --- no smell!!!! No fish taste at all!!! Seriously, maybe my coffee taste little bit different - can't explain but honestly, hard to tell the difference. Now, I am thinking since this powder doesn't even smell, I can add onto my fish cooking, salad dressing, tuna sandwich - etc, I mean this is too good to be true. Maybe this product price is little expensive than some of the other products but I am loving this already at first try. I haven't try in a plain water so not sure how it will taste but even w water, I don't think this powder will make smell because when I smell the powder in the container, no smell. I am a pharmacist so I am so picky about checking things and I have to say, I give two thumbs up on this product. Mix w coffee-- for a coffee drinker, this is awesome. And for a tea drinker, mix w green tea powder (Costco has good one) w this will work great with this powder. I just finished my very first coffee w this powder and decided to write a review because review comments always very helpful to me. So, hope my review helps to people who get scared to try because of fish smell or taste. There is no fish taste or smell. I checked over and over from the start to end while drinking coffee. Even no after taste or feel anything on my tongue. I am loving this. I will write a follow up review after a few months.

With so many collagen products available, I was lost on what to pick and even what to expect. I am almost done with my first jar and now I am ordering a second. I am in my late 30's and began to really see aging in my face, my skinned just looked a bit hollow and weighed down compared to just 5 years earlier. I can say that after 6-8 weeks I did notice a subtle change, but even those subtle changes can really have a big impact on the face looking back at you in the mirror. I noticed that my eyebrows were growing in thicker, so I can only assume hair on my head would be getting the same subtle growth boost. I wouldn't say it is flavorless, alone with warm water it reminded me of a chlorinated pool, so I add a little honey in it and that sweetness makes it a nice addition to my morning routine. Can't speak to aches and pains, or energy levels, I have 2 small children so I am constantly achy and tired. Overall, it's not a miracle face-lift, but if you can be dedicated to a serving a day, you'll see a little bounce come back in your skin.

This really works.....during the plannedemic my wife and I cought the 19, 4 times...each of us ending up in the hospital twice at different times...my wife ended up with long term effects, her hair was falling out in clumps and getting very thin her nails were very brittle and break at simple tasks, her vision was effected..... Her niece, suiet case #22 instructed us to use this form of collagen,I can honestly state this stuff works.... My wifes hair is thicker fuller, nails are strong and vision is better ...her hair care lady was amazed at all the new hair shoots filling in..... Great stuff that really works

REVISED: ORIGINAL REVIEW:This stuff is magnificent! I saw results within a week. My skin on my hands that looked wrinkly is now smoother. The wrinkles are much less noticeable. I wasn't expecting results so quickly!! I'll be buying this stuff for the rest of my life. I can't wait to see what happens with long term use.I did notice that it seems to be fat soluble so just keep that in mind. It doesn't have an after taste, either. This is a wonderful product.REVISED SEVERAL MONTHS LATER: I don't know what happened but after the 2nd container, my wrinkly, collagen lacking skin came back, which leads me to believe the product quality is no longer the same. I called Bolo to see if I could contact the seller, or manufacturer but Bolo didn't have a number nor an email address on file for such. I wanted to get to the bottom of the discrepancy however, I failed. Ergo, I cancelled the subscription I thought I'd have till I died. Too bad I wasn't able to find the seller becuz I would have worked with them to keep receiving the product I reviewed on day/month one. Well folks, now I must start the search for a great quality product, again. It's a darn shame.
Not the most soluble even in hot water...

I haven't used the product long enough for the effects however the solubility is definitely a minor issue which irks me. I tried both hot and cold water which always results in white clumps that require me to use a spoon to break it down and wasting my time in the mornings before I go to work. This is definitely not a collagen supplement issue as my previous one dissolved just as well in cold water.
