These are great - easy to clean and fill. Raised flower on the lid helps keep bugs and rain etc out of the nectar. The small size means they finish it quickly and you don't have to worry too much about mold growing and making your hummingbirds sick (moldy nectar can kill hummingbirds!). I make about 4 cups of nectar at a time and keep it in the fridge, refill my feeders about every 3-5 days depending on the weather and how fast they drink it. I am in Southern California and have Anna's and Allen's hummingbirds year round.These don't have built in ant moats so whenever ants have found my feeders I just take them down, clean off the hook they hang from, kill all the ants, and put the feeder back on a separate ant moat hanger for about a week. After the ants can't get in for a few days they go elsewhere. That might happen a couple times over the summer, it's not a big deal. I have other feeders that DO have built in moats and while ants don't get into those all kinds of other bugs do - I'll have dead bees, flies, spiders, and little moths in the nectar and then I have to empty them. I rarely have that problem with these feeders.

These are by far the easiest hummingbird feeders to take care of! They are so easy to fill, so easy to wash, so easy to assemble and fill again! The best part is these are rarely sticky so they are easy to deal with. The hummingbirds love these and will visit these until they are drained! The smaller size makes these much easier to take care of during hot weather and daily changes. By far the best hummingbird feeders on the market! Highly recommend! (Not the best photo, but I tried! ...it is through my windshield!)

I'm new to feeding hummers. After two weeks of trying to keep up with daily cleaning, sometimes 2-3 times a day with the typical cylinder feeders in the brutal AZ temps, sugar water waste, and other birds making a mess of things, I knew I needed a better product. This is it. What was becoming a serious chore, is now a joy which I'm likely to continue through the year. I received my minis yesterday. Smaller than the typical feeder, but I see this as a benefit. There is FAR less waste of sugar solution. This product is EASY to clean. VERY EASY. No worrisome grooves or crevices requiring obsessive inspection to ensure they are impeccably clean to keep the hummers healthy and alive. A new toothbrush and disposable mascara brush dedicated for cleaning these feeders does the job easily and QUICKLY.The only issue I had was figuring out the best way to remove the lid without breaking it. Instructions say to press down on the hook while lifting the lid. Though the plastic is quite sturdy, this method did not work for me at all. I find it much easier to press down on the clear plastic seat cylinder surrounding the hook, with both thumbs positioned on opposite sides of said hook, while lifting the lid with the rest of my fingers around the edge of the lid. Success every time, with or without the hook screwed in. The hummers quickly figured out the new replacement and even chill on the perch to rest in the shade.I keep the feeder under my back patio, on an adjustable/rotating deck shepherds hook attached to a heavy patio side table, behind a column so the sun never shines on the feeder. I've not found a SINGLE DROP of solution on the plates I have positioned below the feeder. Before trying this little jewel, I watched as the other feeders literally dribbled most of the solution from the feeder holes onto the plates and table top as soon as it reached the brutal outdoor temps here. The sparrows and orioles don't help matters in making a mess either. I use an ant moat, also purchased on Bolo, which all the birds including the hummers drink from as well.I'm so impressed with the quality of this product, a rarity these days, I purchased two more today. The orioles don't seem to like these new feeders. The smaller birds still help themselves, but the area remains clean. These will be my go to feeders, unless the quality changes, going forward. I am very pleased with this purchase. These are worth every penny. Even if by chance I must replace them every couple of years they will be worth the time, effort, and sugar saved.

After having these for a year, I completely understand and can wholeheartedly justify the price and quality of these feeders. It’s such a simple design but every aspect of its simplicity makes sense. Easy to clean, daily. If you have only couple of hummingbird visitors like I do, these are worth it. Also, if you’re going to commit to helping hummingbirds out, you need to absolutely commit to DAILY cleaning and food replenishment during those incredibly and consistently hot summer days. 80 degrees or above, those feeders need to be cleaned DAILY! That’s where these come in. Easy to maintain, clean and refill, they’re worth every penny and the (low) level of effort in daily maintenance. I highly recommend this product. Also, I am not paid for this review. This is my 100% honest review. I love this so much, I’m back a year later, about to buy more and circling back so I can let you know how I feel about these and how much I love them.

Best hummingbird feeder I have found yet for many reasons. They are easy to clean which is important in keeping the hummingbirds healthy - three easy parts that are very easy to reach and are easy to assemble and disassemble. They are small size which is great for people who have few birds or need to space many feeders out. They give an all around great view of the birds feeding if you like to take photos or video of them and many live streams use this feeder in their setup. The company includes information in the box about making sure to make your own nectar with no red dye, way to go. Respect for someone who encourages bird health. Durable plastic construction with metal hook, great for someone with butter fingers like me who often drops things. All in all great value and will continue to purchase these.

They don’t leak, the hummers actually get to land and rest as they drink so I can see thembetter, there’s no yellow to attract yellow jackets, they’re SUPER easy to clean. No need for more than 3 ports as hummers fight for control of the feeders so getting two or more (I have 4) helps to give access for others if hung over 15 feet apart. There’s no waste of sugar water since they are smaller capacity, less chance of fermentation. I haven’t had any bugs since I have an ant moat and a small baffle over each. I couldn’t be happier. Buy them!!
Great feeder
The hummingbirds transitioned great to the this saucer feeder. There’s loads of wasps and bees in my neighborhood and not one on the feeder! Easy to clean
Great as a small feeder but..
This is a great, small, easy to clean feeder but it has it’s drawbacks. Unlike the larger Hummzinger feeder, this one has no integrated ant moat and both feeders have no bee guards. So be aware there will be floating dead insects in the feeder.
