It looks good on the outside. It's just arrived. We are yet to use it. So we can't give any review of its function. The request of warranty extension asked us to come here to enter our review. But our experience with this pressure cooker is none at the moment.

got this atrocity - took it outta the box - big dent in the side - no damage whatsoever to the boxes it was in - digital display was loose - wire inside the lid which held the gasket in place was bent sideways.it was just pure JUNK - i sent it back the next day.-now let me tell y'all a little something about these "electric-pressure-cookers".they're GREAT - SOME of em are anyway - definitely NOT this brand - it's LUDICROUS.i didn't bother even trying to use it because of the aggravation it would have been to prep it for use.-i VERY RELUCTANTLY recommend the "instant-pot" - BUT - the only reason i do is because they are the easiest to use - easiest to clean - HOWEVER - do NOT think they're gonna give you YEARS of service, because that just AINTA-GONNA-HAPPEN.-i got my first "instant pot" not quite two years ago - SINCE then i've had TWO more - i've had THREE of those things and although they DO get alotta use around here, NONE of my appliances are EVER abused. i have several appliances i've had for 15-20 years, and they still work and LOOK as good as the day they were purchased.-oh and do NOT think a "warranty" means ANYTHING to the "instant-brands" people, because it most assuredly does NOT.when you buy an instant-pot, you're on your own - you can forget them being of ANY help to you.-the first instant pot i bought - the display just quit working one day - no reason whatsoever.i called "instant-brands" - they did acknowledge the pot was under warranty - BUT - told me they can't HONOUR the warranty because they don't make that model number anymore.-well ya know what?the second one i bought was the EXACT-SAME-MODEL-NUMBER as the first - the one they said was no longer being manufactured.well - i argued with 5 different people - all insisted it was an old product, even though it was still under warranty - but they weren't about to do anything for me on it.-they had me take photos of it plugged in with nothing showing on the display - had me do a VIDEO of me PLUGGING it in, and THEN showing the screen to PROVE it didn't light up - and THEN had me push buttons in the video - EVERYTHING FAILED.-in the end, they said the same thing - it was an old model.when i bought the second "instant-pot", i called and reminded them what they told me - the first one i had wasn't being made anymore.the person said the one i bought HAD to be a newer model.i took a photo of the model number - same exact model number as the first one - sent it via email, got a reply saying; "oh well - too bad" and that was it.-when my sister read the emails and heard the phone conversations (my phone records EVERYTHING) she called the BBB and submitted complaints - got on MANY different internet sites and let everyone know what was done to me.but alas - nothing ever does any REAL good when it comes to these outfits.-oh and BTW: they claim their inner pots are "stainless-steel" - THEY'RE NOT - THEY'RE POLISHED ALUMINUM.-anyway - i'm on my 3rd "instant-pot" - which BTW - is the same model number as the other TWO...

My roast was done and pressure released but could not get the lid off ask Rufus what to do: said to put it under faucet and run hot water over pressure cooker! My husband finagled was able to remove lid after several attempts! Took 45 minutes to an hour and now I wonder how it will work the next time I decide to use this PRESSURE COOKER! I glad I am married with a strong husband! I thought what would I had done if I had no one to help me! Worried about next time I decide to us this Pressure Cooker! I am hesitant to use again!
