These Ball jars are exactly what I needed for everyday use. I use them daily to store honey, and the 16 oz. wide-mouth size is perfect and easy to fill, scoop from, and clean. The lids twist on smoothly and seal tightly, keeping everything fresh without sticking or leaking.The glass feels thick and sturdy, and the wide opening makes them incredibly practical for both storage and serving. I am very pleased with my purchase for pickling eggs and veggies. The jars seal good and are just what I needed for my pickled eggs. They are good thickness so are very sturdy. The large jar opening makes them simple too wash and fill. These work great to keep my eggs in in the fridge. Just what I needed the two pack came bubble wrapped. I am pleased with my purchase.

For those who gave this product less than 5 stars because they arrived broken or chipped -- seriously? You aren't reviewing the SHIPPING quality, you're reviewing the PRODUCT. Glass jars are 100% as sturdy as GLASS JARS. These aren't somehow less sturdy than normal glass jars because they arrived at your door chipped or broken.The simple fact of the matter is these jars are great. They fit the description (being wide mouth, glass jars) which also come with metal screw-on lids that have a thin rubber lining to keep things sealed. They are perfect for food storage, you can use them as a large cup, pickling, etc.They are GLASS JARS and they act like GLASS JARS. If they arrive chipped, broken or shattered, contact the seller. I haven't had a problem yet but I'd imagine if I told the seller they arrived damaged they'd send another one.

Absolutely love these jars. They are so durable and are definitely not made cheap. They last for years. Even the lids are made with durability. I use them for canning, lotion making, soap products, business storage

These are standard Ball 16 ounce jars made for canning, or refrigerated storage. Quality appears to be very good, with lids and bands to match. Dishwasher safe with no apparent cracking or chips. So far, very happy with this purchase.

My order came in a good condition. The only problem is that I have found broken jar inside in the middle. I should have just return it, but since my girlfriend is excited to use it for canning right away, I wasn't able to that return thing.

The Brand I Trust
Have always stuck to the same brand of mason jars and now the replacement lids I use on the jars also happen to fit nicely on a couple of sets of sprouting jars I use, so that makes the soaking phase of the sprouting process easier and free from risk of spillage, by using the Ball lids. Have always used Ball jars for soaking wild rice prior to cooking, as well as chickpeas and quinoa, before I discovered the benefits of sprouting them.These jars are perfect for storage, easy to clean and with replaceable lids, they should last a lifetime. These 1000ml jars can soak up to a cup and a half of chickpeas. They are sturdy, with measuring scales in metric and imperial units marked on two sides.

Great jars. 16oz - which is American pint size. Maybe one day they'll be available in 20oz which would be more useful for me. But fab looking and very useful for keeping juices and suchlike airtight.
