Most caps are so tight they give me a sweaty headache. This one feels too loose at first, compared to usual spandexy ones, but it is really comfortable, and it does contain hair off my neck. Can be worn above or over the ears. Does not seem to slide off. Doesn't leave a dent on your forehead!Much better than tight spandex, silicone bathing cap or a shower cap for reading in a hot bath or sitting in a hot tub. Seems cool enough for messy gardening and dusty shop tasks.Very pleasantly surprised!

Worn for work in an operating room. This cap is comfortable and well fitted with nice, sharp color. I ordered 2 other brands/styles from other sellers; I like this one most and I'm ordering more.

I use this beanie to keep my bald head warm inside my house during the winter months. I like that the seams are fitted, so no peaks or stitches on top of the beanie as it fits snug to my head. I also like that it covers my ears.

Fairly thin material and seems cheaply made but it helps keep the sweat out of my eyes and keeps me a little cooler.

If you are going through chemotherapy and have lost your hair, these caps are the greatest and such a reasonable price. So light weight and can be worn alone to protect from the sun or under hats and helmets.

*****UPDATE***** After complaining about this product (inaccurate description info) I have returned to buy another one, this time the one with the flap to protect the neck. I find the cap very comfortable to wear and I tend to leave it on almost all day it is so comfortable. The reason I leave it on is because I often step out of the house and forget to put on a hat. I've had skin cancer and am currently treating my head with Effudex so I really need to protect it. If outside, and I remember, I will put a wide brim hat on top of this cap. I have also wet it a couple of times and it does help cool you but MAYBE being wet may cut down on the UPF protection??? ALSO, I found another inaccuracy in the description. One place says 30 UPF and the other says 50 UPF. I don't think it protects as well as they claim but it helps and SELLER HOW ABOUT CLEANING UP THESE CONRADICTIONS?!! P.S. I kind of don't like the tough guy look but whatever. Review raised to a generous 4 stars.How can I trust the claimed SPF 30 when the description says four times it is machine washable but the package the cap comes in says "HAND WASH ONLY"?The tag inside the cap does say machine wash warm 86F so I probably will do that but they really should fix the labeling of the packageThree stars because it is very comfortable and light weight. But can I trust it to protect my skin from cancer or sunburn?

My 12yo son wanted a cap to wear under his football helmet. I ordered this not realizing it was also a cooling cap. The first day he wore it (was first week of training so no pads and more warm ups) he said it was too cold and kept him chilly. Now that he's wearing full gear and has practice for almost 3 hours he loves that it keeps him cool! Yes it is slightly too big, but his hair is 3-4in long so it works. And we'll probably be able to use it next year too. The bright blue color is a bonus, makes it easy to find in his bag or to see which helmet is his on the bench.

Even with my big head, it covered my ears - so makes new helmets easier to slip on.

I bought this for my husband and he is very pleased with it. It stays in place and does not ride up (ie. keeps the ears covered).
