When I just got the hinges, I saw that the holes are not beveled and the screws aren't beveled, either. That what allows them to move around it the hole.The 1-1/4 inch long, 1/8 inch shank screws will have poor grip.Another big problem, the skinny screw shanks are 1/8 inch while the hole and the hinge are 3/16 inch. Too much slop which will become worse as the screws threads dig into the hinge. There should not be threads that the top of the screwThen I held the two parts of the hinge and wiggled them I and found there was too much play.This hinge and screw pair is poorly designed. I am finding a better hinge.

Very good hinges,only when i orderd,i didn`t realize they come one per package,so guess what,you can`t hang a gate with only 1 hinge,so re-ordered a second hinge and it took over 3 weeks to get the hinge.The first one i ordered took less than 1 week.NOT IMPRESSED,had to wait 1 mth to hang my gate.The hinges work great and it all looks excellent though.
