It's very sturdy and easy on the eyes. I've gotten compliments over this bag several times from random strangers over the years (material and color make it look premium). KAKA could probably sell this bag for around $85 (I bought for around $45) and I would still say it was good value. IMO it's the best-made backpack I have ever owned, and I used to lug SwissGear or SwissArmy backpacks while in school that would tear open after 1-2 years of use. This one is still going strong, still looks shiny and bright, and I as I mentioned before, it's sturdy and well made - no tears or signs of wear at all. I use the backpack everyday as my main work bag going to and from work and take it with me nearly every time I travel. Often I cram my (clean) gym accessories or clothes, or sometimes containers of snacks, in the front compartment separate from my books or laptops in the back compartment. The bag is very deep (height), but sometimes I wish it were wider or longer. The only thing I would add to it is a second side mesh holder for another water bottle or container. Otherwise, zero complaints and it honestly looks like I could use it for another 3 years without any issues!

This held 4 days of clothing and toiletries and a few incidents. Laptop and charger. It fit nicely in the overhead. Can be converted to a backpack or carried like a suitcase.

I have just completed a weeklong trip and here is my impression of the bag. Really seems to be made well, feels sturdy with quality, durable materials. I initially thought that I would be using this like a backpack, but found that I enjoyed carrying it like a 'messenger' bag using the shoulder strap. This worked well except for some minor inconveniences. When carrying the bag using the shoulder strap, the water bottle pocket is useless. In addition, the velcro strip that is intended to be used to secure the covering of the backpack straps becomes a magnet for dirt along with trying to attach to your clothing. I would have also liked to have had a couple of pockets for organizing items within the smaller zipper pocket. Overall, for the price of the bag, I am very pleased with it.

Exactly what my son needed for his traveling for work. He has to travel every eight weeks and needs only two nights of clothes. He also has to carry his laptop and other electronics. This bag has a full individual laptop compartment that is fully padded on both sides. In another zippered compartment, there is a separate sleeve for a tablet. There are additional zippered compartments for storage space.He prefers only carrying one bag and this one is large enough to carry everything he needs. He really likes the fact that he can adjust the bag for his current needs.In the airport, he prefers carry the bag as a backpack. All he needs to do is unzip the cover and roll, then adhere to the top and attach with Velcro. One other nice feature is the flap over the top zipper at the top of the backpack. This helps secure the zipper so others can't easily get in the pack when you have if on your back.When he is actually inflight, he prefers closing the flap which hides the backpack straps. Now the straps won't get caught on your legs or the seat of the plane.When in the side briefcase mode, the bag can be carried with the included shoulder strap. It's easy to carry and looks very professional. One problem in this layout is the Velcro is left exposed at the side of the bag. The manufacturer chose to use the rough side of the Velcro and it is exposed. This Velcro seems to adhere to anything that gets near. Can be a nuisance.It's a very nice weekender bag that meets a variety of needs.

This is an amazing backpack. I am not a paid reviewer. I've only written a few reviews, ever. But I felt the need to talk about this backpack. I purchased the KAKA backpack about 13 months ago. I had recently lost a leg in a shark attack (check out Nat Geo June 2016). Prior to the attack, I traveled a lot and led a very active life.Even though I only had one leg, I didn't want to give up my active life. I started making a set of prosthetic legs for each of the activities I loved. I made one for skiing, rock climbing, surfing, and trekking. I needed a way to carry these various legs and spare parts when I traveled (also my laptop, and clothes). That's when I purchased the KAKA backpack. This backpack has been my companion for the last 13 months. It's been all over the world (China, Japan, Mexico, Cuba, DR). I've flown over 120k miles with it.The backpack fits perfectly in the overhead compartment of an airplane. The weight of the bag is well balanced. If you've ever carried a backpack for a few miles, you know how important balance is. The straps are tough and they don't dig into your shoulders. The bag is sturdy. When it gets dirty, I just hose it off.I only had one problem with the backpack. One of the zippers for the main compartment fell off. But since there were 2 zippers for the compartment, it didn't really matter. I let the company know about the problem and they immediately sent me a new backpack. These guys are great.

Nice backpack, but started tearing just before 1 year of use. I am not sure how to contact the seller to request a warranty replacement.

Tiene buen tamaño para llevar como maleta de mano y se nota robusta. Sin embargo me llego incompleta, le falta la correa para poder llevarla al hombro. Por eso no le pongo las 5 estrellas.
Better than advertised
It fits everything I need, solid construction.And the straps fit me, a large man, well.Blows my Swiss gear bag away.
Comfortable and High Quality
Looks great, and fits a takedown Ruger nicely. Very comfortable bag for long bush walks. Wish the main side zipper was about 1 inch longer however, for my application. Has a nice pouch on the side to carry a water bottle.
