Okay, I should qualify that headline as "The Best Keyboard ever Made for the Mac!"But I have never used a better keyboard for *any* computer, and I've used a LOT of keyboards over the years.As a bluetooth connected device, you might fear that you can out-pace the connection and experience dropped keystrokes. But no, it doesn't ever seem to do that. I am a very fast typist and have never had that problem.Knowing Apple, this is not just a simple tap-transmit-wait-for-next-tap type of device. It probably buffers your keystrokes and transmits them, verifying each one with an acknowledgement from the host computer. That's the way I would design it, and it seems to do that.Just talking as a user, I find it very nice and easy to type on. The numeric keypad is also nice-to-have especially if you tend to enter lots of numerical data, for example in a spreadsheet.The keyboard usually lasts me about two weeks between charges, sometimes as long as a month, depending on usage. Over time, the battery gets weaker, as with all such rechargeable devices.I will mention that this keyboard is a replacement for one I got four years ago, which had an arrow key die. I need the keyboard badly so I just went ahead and ordered one without trying to repair the key. I did pry the key cap off and apply some alcohol, hoping it would fix an oxidized connection, but no luck. These keyboards are not really reparable beyond an occasional air blowout or suction (use your handheld vacuum to pull out the dust, hairs etc. from time to time).The one thing I'm doing differently with this keyboard is that I put on a thin keyboard cover, also purchased here on Bolo for a few dollars, to try to minimize dust and other particles accumulating. It protects against coffee spills etc. as well. It somewhat reduces the accuracy of typing, but the payoff is that the keyboard will likely last longer and require less cleaning. A tradeoff.I can recommend this keyboard to anyone working with a Mac, either desktop or laptop; it will increase your productivity and is a joy to use.

I needed a full keyboard with the numbered for work. This works perfectly. No tall keys to trip over. Easy to connect. Holds charge for a long time. Nice placement of port to charge while in use. No messy wires to clutter the desk.

It's the real thing, it's a great keyboard. I have it with the rest of my set up, I can take it as I please and type away. The keys feel just like the my MacBook, so that is a plus, and I enjoy the amount of buttons I'm given. This one is not as heavy as the other one, probably because it's made of plastic. However, great material, great purchase.

I had another keyboard that was mot specific to Mac. It worked but was occasionally glitchy. This keyboard is smooth and performs flawlessly every time! Exactly what I needed! Easy to charge, and beyond easy to connect. Worth it!

Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich bei der letzten Apple-Tastatur gedacht ich könnte die Tasten reinigen. Nach 7 Jahren Benutzung wurde es auch Zeit dafür, es war ziemlich schmutzig, Kaffeeflecken, irgendwelche Essensreste und Krümel, das volle Programm. Also wollte ich vorsichtig den oberflächigen Schmutz entfernen und benetzte die Tastatur nur ein bisschen mit Reinigungsmittel. Schwerer Fehler, die Tastatur war dann hinüber. Irgendwie ist dann doch Wasser eingedrungen und hat die Schaltkreise beschädigt.Aus Ärger über den Schaden habe ich irgendwelche anderen Tastaturen benutzt, wahllos aus der untersten Schublade gegriffen. Aber entweder ist das Handling zu schwerfällig oder irgendwelche Sondertasten werden nicht angezeigt. Dann muss man blöde herumsuchen bis man es findet.Jetzt kurzen Prozess gemacht und jetzt wieder das Original genommen, alles klappt auf Anhieb wieder. Der Unterschied zu anderen Tastaturen ist auffllig: reagiert auf leichteste Berührung, fast kein Druck notwendig. Damit auch über mehrere Stunden Dateneingabe möglich ohne vorzeitige Ermüdung in den Fingern.

Although this item is refurbished, you would never know. Packaging was original, and it is really clean and not a mark on it. It works perfectly. This is the second reconditioned item, and I am very pleased with it.
