I have suffered from severe Meibombian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) for years. Up to now, I have relied on periodic Lipi-Flow Thermal Pulsation treatments every few years for relief. Because these treatments are very expensive and not covered by insurance ($1400-$1600 for 2 eyes), I try to hold off on repeat treatment as long as possible by using Retaine MGD Drops and Eye Compress Masks from Bausch & Lomb and others when the effects start to wan.Upon seeing a new doctor last week to schedule another treatment, I was shocked when he recommended holding off, and trying the Bruder Compress 3x per day along with nutritional supplements instead. Given the extreme eye discomfort I was experiencing, I was highly skeptical. Doc said "I'll gladly take your money but I think you should give this alternative approach a try for 2 -3 weeks. What do you have to lose?" I proceeded to order the Bruder masks.My first session with these masks was literally an (pardon the pun) "eye opener". The effectiveness and comfort of the Bruder exceed all its competitors by leaps and bounds. Not only has it diminished my need for eye drops but, in all likelihood, will eliminate my need for expensive Thermal Pulsation treatments as well.My only regret is not learning of the Bruder masks sooner. They are a game changer!

This eye compress worked as advertised. It was better and more effective than others I have tried because the temperature lasted longer and was moister with a good weight to it so the included strap was not needed by me. I use for treatment for dry eyes and other eye irritation from allergies. It was so good I ordered one for my wife as well.
