This 13 Gal Stainless Steel touchless trash can is designed and engineered by NINESTARS, the world's first legal patent holder. With its sleek rectangular fingerprint-resistant design, it can be used almost any place, such as the home, office, kitchen, bedroom, dorm room or a kid's room. This durable trash can uses the most advanced sensor technology which can be found in all Ninestars trash cans. Pass your hand or debris within ten inches or a 130° angle from the infrared sensor and the lid will automatically open. The lid will remain open if debris or hand remains within the range of the infrared sensor. Three seconds after your hand moves away from the lid, it will close automatically. Power lasts up to 6 months in normal daily usage. It includes a ring liner to keep trash bag from public view for a neat and clean appearance.

It's the perfect shape, size, color combination with stainless and black. It functions perfectly as soon as your hand gets close to the pail. I shopped around for a long time before purchasing this brand. The price was also a determining factor. It was very reasonably priced and less expensive than many other brands and I think is just as good if not better. I highly recommend this product. It makes me happy to walk in my kitchen and see it. A big improvement from my step-on plastic pail. If you're looking for a kitchen trash pail, look no further. You'll love it!

Nice quality and size. Easy to install the batteries. Very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Love the auto open and close. No need to touch if hands are wet. Lid opens fully for good access. The bag ring is great. Secures the bag and contains the bag edges inside the can for a tidy look.

We upgraded our 10 year old Ninestars automatic trash can to this all silver Ninestars trash can. Our old one is still working like the day we got it! We decided to put it out in our all stainless outdoor kitchen. I love the cleaner look and the wider opening of this new trash can. Here’s to hoping we get at least 10 years out of this new one too!

For the price it is nice, but the lid is super sensitive. Just walking by it makes the lid go up and down. It makes a creaking sound that can get annoying after awhile.

This one has been working wonderfully since I received it. It can be a little sensitive when the batteries are fresh, in that the lid opens when you’re simply walking by it.
Sleek elegant design and material for a bin that needs to be outside the cabinet
Packaging was secure and impressive. The overall material is good although i expected the lid to be also made of stainless like the bin. But, still a nice product and works very well.
