Just who is “America’s secret weapon against crime?” As his catchy theme song sets out, he’s a “number one super guy, quicker than the human eye!” Disguised as a mild-mannered police station janitor, Penrod transforms himself into the powerful pooch that the girls love to smooch by leaping into his filing cabinet and emerging as Hong Kong Phooey. Collecting most of his criminal tips from Rosemary, the miniskirted New York dispatcher, he leaps into danger – with his Phooeymobile and Kung Phoo dumb luck – to dog, collar and let loose his famous Hong Kong Phooey karate chops on unsuspecting crooks everywhere.

Nur die Stimmen sind halt anders, aber: so what! Spaß bringt das Anschauen allemal!

Souvenez-vous de ce chien, plutôt maladroit, qui se prend pour un justicier spécialiste des arts martiaux, Hong Kong Fou Fou! Ce coffret Hanna Barbera regroupe l'intégrale de la série, dans un délire total et une liberté perdus depuis dans le monde de l'animation. A signaler que seul l'anglais est disponible (audio & s/titres) mais un niveau moyen de langue permet de suivre l'intrigue; et il y a les images. A consommer sans modération!!!
