I live in Atlanta near the river. The river and the humidity in the summer are the perfect breeding grounds for many flying and biting insects. The first night I used the bulb, I opened my patio door and didn't walk into a wall of hundreds of flying insects. I was impressed! I do see a few moths now and then which don't bother me. But, no more gnats, biting black flies etc. And I have fireflies in my garden again! The light has a nice warm glow that is bright enough to sit outside at night with friends and have dinner and grill without being harsh. It's like a really bright candle glow. I definitely recommend this.

Used these bulbs in enclosed outdoor porch lights. The yellow bulb seems effective in lighting the porch area without attracting insects. In extended low temperatures, the bulb is slow to light or sometimes does not come on. Has lasted several years without requiring replacement. Overall, very satisfied.

GREAT PRODUCT!!!! Bright light with almost no bugs at all. I did not believe any light could draw so few bugs; going out the door does not involve bugs. Previous bulb was a cf. it was dim, slow to light up full, and drew some bugs. This bulb is everything that one wasn't. Quick bright light without bugs. Everything you could expect!

This product solved a huge problem that we had in the front of our home with a massive amount of bugs in the summer months. There were times you had a hard time opening the front door without some kind of flying bug coming into the home. We had a regular white bulb in the lamp, I did some research and found out bugs would not gather around a yellow bulb, I did some further research and bought your bulbs! They worked beautifully! I would say that the bulb got rid of 99% of the flyers! I have recommended theses bulbs to all of my family and friends, we put them in the front of the house, our lawn lamp post, our back deck and I am relieved that we have solved this messy problem!

I love the color of these lights. They are not only effective and bright, but give great curb appeal at night. My only issue....I bought four bulbs. I inserted 2. Then 2 more in other lights about 2 weeks later. One of the 2nd set has already burned out. I would estimate that it only had about 90 hours on it. Otherwise.....I would give them Five Stars.

Got these today and installed them in my soffit fixture by my front door. Last night I went outside and got bombarded by so many bugs! I had regular led bulbs in there. I went out this evening after the swap and literally saw 4 gnats! I'm an electrician and plan on recommending these to customers! The only downside is the yellow tint. They certainly don't look like a normal 2700 Kelvin bulb. Small price to pay for hardly any bugs!! They are bright though! I'll see how long they last since they are on a timer from sunset to sunrise.

I intended these bulbs to be used on a fixture that is on a timer. When they power on, they strobe. If you hit the power a second time, they go solid. However, since these are on a timer, whenever the power goes on (in the evening), it is on the "strobe" cycle and there appears to be no way to make it permanently solid. There is nothing in the ad, nor on the box itself, to warn of this behavior.

Purchased those light bulbs for summer time lighting. Much brighter than previous 40 Wt, keep 80-90% of bugs out of porch. To keep lights style of the house, changed also light bulb above side entry door to same GREENIC 60w yellow bulb
Works pretty good for mosquitoes and is bright
Nice and bright bad year for mosquitoes and I have to admit when this light is on in Southern Ontario I haven't seen a mosquito near it that doesn't mean I don't see other bugs near it but for some reason I do not see mosquitoes so it works for me, my front yard light is a non changeable LED and it is covered in mosquitoes.
I would buy again
These bulbs are quite nice for being a yellow light, it is powerful enough to light up the path to the front door. It doesn't keep all the bugs away but it does cut then down by 80%, so I'm happy

Short lifespan
We have used these bulbs for all our outdoor lighting for the past 24 months. Now we are finding that some of them are not working. The total number of hours in use (on at sunset, off at sunrise) is less than 9000 hours. All bulbs were used in outdoor protective light fixtures with open bottoms.Other than the disappointing lifespan we have been very satisfied with the performance (although spiders and flying insects are still attracted to them. )
