I love this grinder: it's heavy duty. This is a high amperage model and you can lean into it without worrying about burning it up. Trigger switch is well designed so you don't accidentally bump the switch and turn it on. The trigger is also easy to grip without fatigue; I thought I'd want the trigger lock, but haven't felt the need to use it since the trigger is easy to hold continuously. Comes with a tool-less wheel guard adjustment, which is great - no need to find a screwdriver every time you need to move the guard. Highly recommended.

DeWalt price but DeWalt quality, DeWalt durability, DeWalt functionality. Rock solid grinder and, in my case, also "cutter." Quality construction with attention to detail (seams mate, parts are finished, etc.) that make for a heavy, solid grinder. Laying upside down under a Jeep grinding tests your arms strength but this grinder cut and ground away brackets in no time. Easy to change disks and a wide assortment available make for a very versatile tool. Being DeWalt and given the solid feel I expect this to last at least 10-15 years of my level of home use.

The media could not be loaded. Don't buy this, I used it for a while and it jammed, the bearings started whistling. I was hoping that if I bought a DeWalt it would be a quality and reliable tool, but now I am disappointed. I don't recommend buying this, save your money!

I am now only a corded Dewalt fan, this is the second one of these I have bought and with my reduced strength they are the best grinders I can use, a combo of the smaller diameter trigger area and the soft start.

Came on time. Plenty of horsepower for the tough jobs. You need a corded tool for the longer and more difficult jobs when you just can’t be changing multiple batteries
