Simple ingredients. No added supplements I don’t want or need. Doesn’t add a taste or texture to my smoothies. We’ve been using this for years as our go to protein powder.

I tried a brand of oatmeal from the grocery store named for a type of brown bear, it is fortified with pea protein. It tasted nice and there was no crash, but it is also very expensive and contains more sugar than I'd like.So I found this on Bolo, and just roll my own. I put a tablespoon in per serving. It is important to whisk the powder into the water thoroughly before it is added to the oatmeal, otherwise you'll have a bunch of not so great tasting lumps. Once blended properly and cooked in, I can for sure taste something a touch different than 'normal' oatmeal (the store bought stuff was the same) but it isn't unpleasant. One of my favorite breakfasts, you can a big pot to last several days (freezes well too!) with whatever fruit is in season.

I use this for my morning smoothie, blended with almond milk, cocoa powder, peanut butter, fiber oat powder and stevia. It keeps my hunger at bay and I am able to accomplish what I need for the day without worrying about nutrients. Very satisfied with this product as it is virtually tasteless, so it blends in to so many recipes without being overbearing. Highly recommend if you are searching for a protein source low in carbs and high in protein for a KETO-friendly diet.

The ingredients are certified as organic, pure etc. by multiple organizations so though made in China, it passes all the tests. The texture easily mixes in with smoothies and other liquids, without imparting a grainy or noticeable flavor. I add it to my morning green drink to get in another 8g of protein in the daily intake. This price point is a much better value than alternatives made in US or Canada.

Too much sodium. Do the math: 1 tablespoon contains 110mg sodium and 8 grams protein. If you want a good dose of protein, you want at least 3 tablespoons (24 grams), which would give you 330mg of sodium! No thanks.

It's a great price for the amount you get, and it contains ingredients that feel healthy. However, I can't get over the 'taste' and texture. While it is an unflavoured product, it leaves an aftertaste in smoothies that I cannot explain. What's even more unusual is that it's fine in other foods, for example, pancakes or muffins. I bought this mostly to use in smoothies and ended up using it mostly for cooking and baking because of the aforementioned aftertaste and texture in smoothies. I liked it though, I just wouldn't call the texture "smooth".
