I have a dry very itchy scalp with locs and here's my experience with this product:Does it work? Yes, but not immediately. It takes about 30ish minutes for it to kick in and start healing the irritation. Once it starts working, it works well and my head won't itch at all.I basically use this for emergencies when I'm in bed, and my head is so irritated, I apply this and then I can sleep again. However, when I keep my head moisturized, If i use my scalp oils and leave in conditioners regularly, I wouldn't need to use this in the first place.I would not recommend as a primary scalp treatment mainly bc of the price, but as a backup for when you're too lazy to take care of your scalp naturally, then it does get the job done with a little patience.

I'm a Natural Fabulous Black woman with 4C hair so thick it's more like 4X :) I love it! My hair tends toward dryness, and my scalp towards sensitivity. I bought this once to give it a try and next thing I know it's almost empty. I apply it as needed if my scalp gets too itchy or uncomfortable, and it gives me almost instant relief. Sometimes it's most irritated right after washing. A few drops on the affected spot calms my scalp back down. It soothes my scalp without any greasiness or heaviness, moisturizing in a very light way, likely due to the hyaluronic acid, an ingredient popular in skincare that's now beginning to appear in scalp care products. It's great for my sensitive scalp and kind to my hair. My bottle is low so it will be time for a refill soon. Enjoy!

I've been using it for a couple weeks and the flakiness is disappearing. Doesn't seem to have much affect on the redness though. There has been some increased itchiness as well.

this is the *only* thing that calms perimenopausal scalp itching for me, and i've been cycling through shampoos & conditioners for years now trying to find things that work. it works immediately. i put into a smaller pointed pipette because the pipette with this bottle doesn't work for me, just applies it all over my hair.

Got this from a coworker who gets a subscription to a beauty box. My secondary shampoo has tea tree oil in it so I knew this would work in my hair which hates any leave in products. When I received this product I was having a really hard time with dandruff and dry scalp due to the dry air from winter. This helped within the first 2 applications. I do NOT use I every time I wash my hair (which is every 3-5 days depending on what I’m doing or if it’s hot) and I use way more than the directions say because I use 1 pump of it on 3 places along my scalp (sides and middle). My hair and scalp feel great and will continue use.

I have been using this for 3 days or so along with this brands other dandruff products. There is not enough product in this bottle. I don’t know how they expect anyone other than a bald man to effectively cover their scalp with this without using 25% of the bottle each time they apply. I’ve used it 3 times and the bottle is almost gone…I do like the way it makes my scalp feel, the minty feeling gives relief but my scalp is still itchy despite using this and the other dandruff products from this brand. It’s a bummer because I was really hoping it was going to give some itch relief. There is less dandruff but I can’t keep up buying this it’s too expensive.

This hair treatment is so cooling on the scalp it is really nice when you massage it in. I have been dealing with super dry and brittle hair as I moved from a place that was humid to a place that is more dry. This prodcut has been doing wonders for my hair. It is a bit pricier than most hair treatments but It is worth every penny! I do like the other briogeo products but I would have to say that this is the best one they carry. It is travel and TSA friendly. I would recommend applying right after the shower on clean scalp.

I work in a ship yard that is made of caliche. Caliche becomes a very fine dust and gets all in my hair during the windy months which drys out my scalp, causing dandruff and itching. This product after 2 weeks has alleviated 90% of those symptoms. My scalp feels amazing. It’s worth the money. My prayers are answered.

Expensive experience
Unfortunatly it did nothing for me! Still itchy and flacking terribly. Bought it as i thought it would help my peri menopausal scalp from being so dry.I used the bottle in a few days. So my experience was quite expensive with no result.
