Gillette is simply the best a man can be…the best a man can get. The best. I have tried a handful of cartridge razors. Every single one of them presenting me with a particular problem. Harry’s to harsh, causes razor burn around my Adam’s Apple. Knicks and cuts. Not very comfortable. Schick super smooth. However didn’t shave as close and caused an ingrown hair on my chin. Not the Gillette fusion 5. Smooth pain free shave. Honestly my first Gillette was the Gillette labs. Its newest one and I bought a bunch of cartridges for that. I love that razor but I wanted to get a handle where I had the option to pay a couple bucks less per cartridge for when I need to save money. The Gillette labs is even smoother somehow but you don’t need it necessarily. I do plan on getting the heated Gillette labs razor someday but this shave is just as good honestly. And I plan on saving a few dollars here and there with this razor. I’m glad I got the jet black handle because I think the older handle looks like a kids toy for some reason with the fake chrome and whatnot. It’s painted like a hot wheels toy. This one is very sleek looking. No ingrown hairs. A very smooth and comfortable quality shave. I wish it wasn’t as expensive but in this country you get what you pay for usually. Generally if you want a bad experience you get the cheaper product, and if you want a good experience you get the more expensive brand. It’s hot or miss but not with Gillette. If you want to look your best I highly recommend this razor. Don’t waste time with other razors unless you are not a cartridge shaver already. DSC is horrible. BIC is horrible. Bolo essentials is horrible. Don’t waste your time. Get this.

Gillette is the only brand I will get. My wife tried getting me on that dollar shave club.. which is a joke compared to the quality of Gillette.These blades are sharper and last much longer.. you get what you pay for.
