We will be using this to stow our electric bicycles on our 37' boat while on the water (for protection from the elements). Later, we can stow on the back of our RV for land trips! Not sure how this would do on a plane with the luggage handlers....not sure if seams can handle the tossing, etc. This seems to be strong enough for us to carry from house to vehicles.Like the holding "backpack" for storage, note: the straps are used as handles on the bicycle bag. Has velcro straps in back to hang the "backpack" onto a rail. The backpack has NO padding, appears water "proof" canvas fabric like the bicycle bag. We will use this for storing bicycle stuff, like batteries, supplies, chains/locks, etc.

Great bag it fits Schwinn adapt folding 20” bike perfect with room to spare for more goods and it is padded well enough for travel I would recommend product to anyone who wants the perfect folding bike bag with extra pack for the bike

Overall this is a nice bag and easily fit a Dahon Mariner D8 when folded. Unfortunately, when it arrived today I found that 1 of the 4 clips on the carrying strap was broken upon arrival. A second clip broke when I tried to attach it to the bag. Given the price, i expected better quality.

I hated to return this bag but it was too big. It fit my 20 inch Dahon P8 just fine.But here is the deal. The bag I currently have is not really a bag at all. It is by Dahon and is really a nylon cover that you drape over the bike. There are these 2 Velcro straps inside that you have to secure to the bike. The velcro is a mess, it sticks to its' self. Then a draw string at the bottom to gather the extra material. Because it is nylon, the bike would stick you in the gut as you put it over your shoulders (the shoulder strap are connected to the velcro inside..So I was looking for nice thick padded bag. and found the best. But when not in use. this bag from Bolo is big. the listing states you can put it on your handle bars. No way. It is even too big to wear as a back pack., even too big to put on the back rack of your bike if you have one.I wanted a bike bag that I could hide my bike while getting on to the bus. but when I get off the bus and want to ride home, what do I do with this huge bag.I guess it would be Great to use to ship your bike on the plane. but not for daily commuting. where you might ride to the bus stop and want to pack the bike away.

I do a bike/amtrak commute 5 days/week. I've been using a Dahon Vybe d7 but will be updating to a Brompton shortly.The Dahon is simply awkward to carry and put into luggage bins when folded. I thought this bag might help with that. It definitely allowed me to get the bike into and out of the overhead bin without having to get grey road scum all over my hands, so 2 stars for that, but it's super awkward to carry still and adds the complication of having to cart this humongous bag while riding.I would not recommend this or a 20" wheel folding bike in general for purposes like mine. The best thing I can say about this bag is that the buyer's remorse I felt after receiving and using it helped me finally decide to throw no more money at this bike.

Not only does this bag fit my folding bike, but it has a removable pad for the bottom to keep any sharp parts of the bike from ripping through the bag - which is what happened to my last bag. Awesome storage backpack for bag when not in use, and handy strap system for carrying. I bought this bag mostly for storage of my bike and transport of my bike in my vehicle. Would definitely buy this bag again.

I ordered 2 backpack/carrying bags. It showed using the backpack straps for the carrying bag for my bikes. When we lifted the bag, the strap broke immediately. It seems the clasp is too lightweight for the purpose of this bag. I have requested new clasps.
