I was going to get the Viking Revolution flip out comb, because aesthetically, it was so cool looking. But after reading reviews, some stated they wished it had bigger spacing between the teeth. I'm pleased with the spacing and two size option on this one. Compact enough to fit in front or rear pocket. Good build quality and material. Gentle on beard. Less pulling and tearing.

I thought the comb would be dandy to stick in my back pocket. Wrong! Unfortunately, it broke in half in the first few hours in my back pocket. Believe me, if I knew it was that fragile, I would have passed on this kit. Looked like plastic, turns out it's pearwood! I should have paid closer attention to the type of material. Haven't used the scissors or the brush, but I am still using "half" of the comb and it's working.UPDATE: Anne with Viking Revolution contacted me and sent me a new comb, very good customer service. Thanks!

Got this kit for my husband. He actually uses it! He has very short beard but it's kinda unruly, and the brush really tames it. (I also like the way the kit looks on the bathroom vanity.) Can't get him to use the comb on his hair, so no idea how well it works.

Definitely not wood. I have a wood beard comb and this is not like that one. Very light and cheap feeling. Wood comb is heavy and feels good in your hand, this one is the opposite.

You get more than your money’s worth. Small box, filled with essentials for the hair on the face that we think makes us look better or that protects us from harsh weather. I may have missed the item in the blurb (that I just scanned). As an extra they included…aw, never mind, surprise yourself and buy this item today!

Lovely little starter kit, perfect Christmas present

So I wanted to get him a little kit to start off for Christmas.One of the main things I actually noticed was that without combing/brushing it every day, it would quickly look quite unruly, so I wanted to get him a comb set that he could use in the mornings while getting ready for work and this one had great reviews.It’s a nice little kit and the comb is very gentle on his beard hair. It’s not that long so he’s not combing out lots of knots but it’s well-made and good quality , so would work perfectly for longer beards.He hasn’t really needed to use the scissors again because his beard isn’t long enough, but when it comes to tidying up his moustache, they’re nice and sharp, so do a nice tidy job of tidying up any long, stray hairs and the soft bristle brush is ideal for getting it all too lay beautifully flat and straight after he puts the balm on.Yes, I’m sure if you were a connoisseur or somebody who had a long bushy beard that required more maintenance, there are probably more expensive kits out there that will do a better job, but this was perfect as a gift to give him towards starting to look after his new face furniture, and he was very pleased with that

Beard brush might be good but the scissor is very very poor quality. I guess you can go for it and be patient but if you re a person who wants easy and trustworthy grooming friends, I would wander around to find my favorite grooming tools before ending up here.

Maybe a good product, but hard to tell as the key part of the brush is completely smashed. Maybe protect this otherwise it is a pretty useless product.
