(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Its so cool, Its pretty big but its so cool and so beautiful. 10/10 I love it, so happy with it. Good condition, not sharp but can be sharpened.
3.0 out of 5 stars Looks great overall. Not a great finish. For decoration
The sword looks great, but upon closer inspection, the quality isn't that great. The seller claims the blade is hardened and tempered, but it is not. The guard and handle also look nice, but finer details are lacking.
5.0 out of 5 stars Cost Effective Sword
This is a high quality and durable blade that made a great addition to my collection. It came in the mail dull and coated in a very sticky oil meant to preserve it. After a cleaning and professional sharpening trip, the sword was in battle ready condition. This sword is amazingly nice to wield. The weight feels right and the Damascus pattern is excellent. I would recommend this sword.

More beautiful than expected
2.0 out of 5 stars Extremely loose in the handle
First off, this is a visually stunning sword. Granted, from reading the reviews I knew this came blunt and is mainly meant as a display piece. The problem is that it is very loose in the handle. I can actually see it wiggle when I shake it. The blade is a visually stunning beautiful Damascus and the handle is really cool looking. It's just so poorly constructed that I'm afraid to even swing it at the box it came in for fear that the blade will fly out of the handle. It feels like a rat tail tang that was poorly glued in. For display though it is gorgeous.
4.0 out of 5 stars A very good display piece for the money, but don't even think about cutting anything with it
I ordered this on a whim. I thought, "Hey, it would be cool to get a sword!" So, I looked up some stuff about steel quality and what to look for in terms of price, item quality, smithing brands, and so on.Then I thought, "You know, I'm just after the look. Who cares about combat effectiveness?"So I got the SZCO Supplies Damascus Steel Fabergé Sword. It came blunt, wrapped in bubble wrap, and covered in some sort of oil which had gotten all over it. There was a leather scabbard that came with it, with a little steel clasp holding the sword inside when fitted. The SZCO Supplies Damascus Steel Fabergé Sword is quite visually striking - the wavy blade draws the eye toward the tip, the handle is long, sturdy (I figure it could be used as a fair hand-and-a-half) and well designed to fit in my massive bear paw-like hands, and the Damascus patterning is lovely to look at, almost like the namesake eggs. All in all, I have a very, VERY pretty bludgeoning instrument. On the other hand, the sword was poor in a practical sense. It came blunt, as I said above, and aligned poorly. It was visibly slightly bent all along the blade, and there were some small marrings in the handle that were noticeable on close inspection. The scabbard that came with it was similarly of mixed quality - it's a fairly good piece of hide, but no particular care seems to have been put into it, making it seem like an afterthought. It also wasn't oiled whatsoever, so I worked it myself. Now, I want to be clear. $115 is a low, low, low price for a quality sword (I hear actual battle-ready weapons come at around $300-400). I wanted a display piece, and I got a nice one.
5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful well crafted sword
Beautiful sword. Wish I knew how or where to have it sharpened, but I love it.
3.0 out of 5 stars Blunted edge
Amazing sword ... solid construction ... my only complaint is that nowhere is it stated that the weapon is completely unsharpened this was truly my fault for not asking and assuming it was sharpened
