I bought this as an alternative treatment for hypothyroidism. I am not sure how that will work yet, but, I am glad that it tastes good. This company made no claims as to the health benefits for the thyroid, but, many people have told me to try it. It has to be organic, and I have to take 2 Tablespoons a day, so, I need it to have a better flavor than the last brand; it does taste better. I can cook meals with it too. So, even if it doesn't help my thyroid, at least it does not taste bad and is good for other things too.
