I used it on an extra heavy wood door with commercial size hinges. The color matched the hinges perfectly. Easy to install. I removed the nylon insert and the large commercial hinge pin fit nicely. Highly recommend. I actually used two, but could have used just one. They work!

Bought for 2 doors and were installed on 41/2” commercial hinges. Somehow on one door, it got beyond where it should have and bent the hinge. Swapped the hinge on a rarely used door and has not happened again. Second door was not a problem. I think someone may not have stopped pushing when it reached the end but only a guess. If the stop portions were longer it might not have happened.

The product looked like it could work in concept but, I pulled the pin on my commercial door hinge (BBM brand fat finger hinge) and tried to place this into the hinge fingers. From the photo, you need to look closely to see the stop space (area between the stop and pin) is just slightly to shallow and won't drop into the hinge. It can't be bent to increase the space (I tried) and forcing it on to the hinge only produces scarring (you can see that too). Decided to return to distributor and I'm looking for something else similar.
