I had my bangs botched and needed something to keep them down without having to use a Bobbie pin. I was able to have them down and sweep them to the side and stay that way. “Cockatoo feathers” eliminated. The hold tamed down my bangs but flexible enough that they weren’t stiff. Although if you want a solid rock hard hold you just have to a more product. The hold last all day, no film or visible residue, not sticky or tacky and smells wonderful.

Great hold, easy to apply. The size of the container is within the TSA limit. I heard this product line was discontinued, but I hope that's not the case. I bought 3 containers just in case. The 3.4oz jar lasted me about 4 months of use, and I use it 4-5 times a week. Does not add much shine to the hair, just enough weight to hold the hair in place without looking like it's there.

I have tried many, many different products to help style my hair and i keep coming back to the garnier surfer power putty. I have very fine hair which goes everywhere in strong winds. This is the best product to keep the locks in place and me looking damn good. There are many products that cost way more than just don't do as well. I only wish Garnier would make a bigger tub and is was more commonly available on the shelves.

I put this in my hair when it’s still damp and then blow dry. Makes my thin fine hair look and feel thicker with more volume. And the price is fantastic. It works just as well as products 3 times the cost! So glad I found this!

I recently got a pixie cut and wanted to try a matte hair pomade. Upon opening the container I was hit in the face with a huge amount of fragrance. Like, 'your mom who can't smell well put on perfume' amount of fragrance. Would probably be nice if subtle, but way stronger than necessary IMO. I felt like I had to use a fair amount of product to get the hold and style I wanted to achieve, but for the price not bad. Slightly sticky when applying but easily applied, dries soft and matte, and seems to hold well. Just a few hours after applying my eyes were red and watery though. Despite a shower that evening and following morning, and allergy pill both days, it took 2 days before I was back to normal. Overall, the actual hair results were decent but obviously the overwhelming smell and allergic reaction make this an automatic no for me. Luckily I ordered Pacinos at the same time just to have a second option, and so far that's been working very well for me. Sadly this product just isn't right for me, but I'm sure it's a decent option for some.

Recently donated 28 inches of my hair to children with hair loss foundation and I had this recommended by my stylist. Never really knew how to style my hair this short and I have to say, this product is perfect and holds my hair the way I need it to. You only need a dime size so I know it'll last a while! Plus, this brand doesn't test on animals! Win win for me!
