The eucalyptus scent is fresh and mildly bracing, but not in any way perfume-like. It just feels clean, natural and devoid of the chemical harshness that I have found with so many deodorant soaps. It lathers well and leaves me feeling renewed. The shea butter helps prevent drying, but no worries, there isn't so much of it that it feels overly soft and creamy like a facial beauty bar. This is a fantastic all-purpose hand and shower soap and one of Tom's best products.

Tom's stuff has always been great, and I only recently found out they had bar soap. When I found out, I knew I just had to try it--and it was definitely worth it! There's no junk like alcohols or synthetic fragrances, and the only thing that I wish would be different is the use of palm oils (though I know it's more economical for then to do so).Now, I'm usually a Dr. Bronner's guy. I really love their castile soap bars as well as their variety (although I only ever find myself reaching for their eucalyptus and peppermint bars since those are usually what I can find at Walmart). So with that, I wanna do a quick comparison:Lather: I find the lather with Tom's to be outright better. Both ToM and DB weigh the same, so theoretically they should last the same amount of time. However, I feel as though I go through DB quicker because the lather isn't as rich, and I find myself using more of it. With ToM, the time it takes for it to lather up is much quicker. This could be a bonus for some people, and ultimately for me it's not a huge deal--as long as I get clean.Scent: So, DB wins this one pretty easily. Not only does the longevity of DB's bars' scents exceed ToM, but the addition and concentration of essential oils in DB products is their big hitter. You get the benefits of the essential oils as well as the scent, and they really don't skimp on them. ToM's scents are much more complex, especially in the orange blossom with the addition of argan oil (this one and their eucalyptus are my favorites!). ToM scents last much shorter, and essentially dissipate within an hour after showering. DB may last a similar amount of time depending on whether you are sweating afterwards or not, but--anecdotally--I would say DB wins this.Moisture level/Dryness: I think it's a toss up here. Both DB and ToM have similar drying effects on my skin (normal-to-oily). Both leave my skin pretty dry, but never dry to the point where I believe I would peel or need to apply more moisture, even. For that reason, I think they tie in this category.

I've now been using this bar soap as a hand and facial soap for a couple of years.Yes, on my face!I wanted something to cleanse with on a daily basis that was gentle, scent-free, and plastic-free. And relatively inexpensive! I am an older redhead, and have tried many different cleansers over many years, due to my sensitive skin.This fits my needs wonderfully! I'm happy to say that this bar soap cleanses, for me, in a non-irritating and extremely gentle fashion. I occasionally augment my routine with a pricey cleanser from L'Occitane, but that is really no longer necessary for me; this is the soap I reach for morning and night.

I enjoy using this soap. The list of ingredients is natural and good for your body. It has a great scent that isn't too powerful but very pleasant. It has a really good lather which I really enjoy. It also makes you feel clean but doesn't give you that "squeaky clean" that leaves your skin dry. After I shower I feel like my skin is moisturized and refreshed. I enjoy the packaging as well it is very minimal and better for the environment. I just wish it was a little more affordable to buy this. Each bar is about 4$ and that seems a little steep. Great soap if you can afford the luxury.

This is a very good soap. I can use it all over, including face, if I want. I say that because I use another soap for that most of the time. For Tom's I can use either the unscented or coconut -- unusual because I don't tolerate fragrance at all but it's mild enough that it's soothing and non-irratating, and will not clash with other products one might be using since the mild scent dissipates shortly after leaving the shower. The unscented bar is just as good at cleansing without the coconut fragrance. For those who want to know, the other soap I use is Sappo Hill glyoatmeal unscented, which I found on Bolo as well. I have gotten smart enough to have more than one because with skin as sensitive as mine, it` usually not too long before the bar is changed to something else or discontinued altogether due to low volume of purchase. I that won't happen with these soaps.

This soap is so smooth and creamy. It does not dry out my skin and it smells nice. It doesn’t appear to have any harmful ingredients which is also a bonus.. I highly recommend.

I have just tried the coconut scent but I love the soap. It lathers so well and smells so good. My skin feels nice and smooth after just one use. I definitely recommend this brand!

BEST SOAP EVER. Best scent to a soap ive ever tried! Makes my skin so smooth and clean its great! One soap bar would last a week at best if used daily. Highly recommended!
