They were comfortable right from the start, but I did keep my old boots with me for the first few days just in case. I never needed to switch back. The size was on point and so far (one month shy of a year) I’ve only replaced the laces - literally just replaced them today - and put in some new insoles several months back as they were worn through. Will definitely be buying another pair once these are worn enough to replace. For those that have asked in the questions, I replaced the laces with 60” laces and they seem to be the perfect length.
5.0 out of 5 stars Boots
My son LOVES them! Warm and comfortable!
5.0 out of 5 stars Would recommend.
Seem high quality. Lighter weight than steel toe. I got the brown ones which were $60 less than all black if they were the same price I prob would have for the black ones. As a butcher I work on wet floor an and sometimes blood drips on my boots bring out the leather these have a different material that seems to be more resistant. I also lightly pressure wash these and the stay dry. Very good value use to buy Timberland pro but I’ll prob buy these from now on. The size seems to be correct
4.0 out of 5 stars Look sturdy!
Bought for my husband who works on boats. He needed new work boots so I decided to "splurge" for a higher quality boot. Let's see how long they last for the price. I also like tbr carbon fiber toe box. That will keep his toes warmer than the steel toe in the winter.
5.0 out of 5 stars Held up right about a year
Great boots for the original price. They’ve gone up now and there’s more brands out that I’m leaning towards now over these. But they served me well through rain, sleet, snow, salt, chloride, grease, oil, optimix, torching, spills, mud, dirt and the like. The orange under part wore out first but the soles last a long time. They’re stylish and fit great and true to size. Very comfortable and lightweight.
2.0 out of 5 stars just ok
they are nice boots but on one boot the toe protector does not fit correctly and rubs my toe raw
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice boot but there were concerns.
I liked the looks and style of these boots as well as the fit. It was surprised at the black material being rubbery. This brought about a question of breathability in my mind. Also, I always kneel down to see how a boot will break or that's what I call it. I am referring to how the material acts on top of the boot. Does it wrinkle up and jab you in the foot or be really uncomfortable? Will it eventually crack there and leak? Etc.... I have a problem with the toe box on some boots but these were good. Basically, I've been wearing Bates for the last several years and the boots I like weren't available so I tried these on the try before you buy. I never wore them for long periods at a time and only indoors just in case I returned them. To me there were too many questions but I will say that they were the best fitting boot out of several pairs I tried. And if my boot of choice had not become available and I had to go with another pair I most likely would've given these another shot!
1.0 out of 5 stars OUCH!!!!!!
These are the absolute worst boots I have ever owned. I've been in military and LE for a long time and worked construction as well so I have worn my fair share of boots. I have worn them for about 9 months and they HURT. They kill my feet, cramp my toes, and give me blisters all over my feet. The only reasons I haven't thrown them away and have worn them as much as I have is that I wore them to long to return them. I kept telling myself they will break in any day now. Now I have a calluse an inch high and as big as a half dollar. I wear them still because they cost me a $165 and I don't want to buy another pair but I can't take it any more they are going in the trash.
