Great watch. I loved the simplicity and ruggedness of it. However, the adjust button is recessed (so that you don't accidentally press it) and makes it extremely difficult to press, i had to take the watch off or use a pencil to press the button. for some this might not be an issue, but for me who is constantly changing timers and alarms and resetting the stopwatch, it was no good. other than the recessed button, the watch is perfect

The recently updated DW5600UE has several updates over the non-updated version shown in Bolo photo:- LED backlight instead of the previous EL electroluminescent backlight. Not everyone will like this change but it uses less power and results in longer battery life. The LED backlight should outlast the EL and works fine for me.- Expected average battery life is now improved to 5 years (up from 2 years with the EL backlight). Casio is usually conservative with battery life estimates, so yours may last much longer.- Updated module reference 3525.- The LCD display on the updated version appears to be sharper and crisper- The text on the front panel has been updated and de-cluttered a bitThe updated 3525 module may include other improvements, but the list above are the changes I noticed. The G-Shock DW5600 series remains the classic durable timekeeper that we admire and respect… especially when the going gets tough. And this base model is an incredible value… highly recommended.

Simple, classic, durable, and priced fair. Can’t go wrong with this watch. Haven't taken it off since purchase, and hasn’t given me a single issue. Keeps time fine since it’s digital, and water proof claims are valid.Great watch for the price.

Got this to replace a G-Shock "Death Star" watch that had a band break after 8 years and still on the second battery. I hope this holds up just as well. Its thinner than the other gray watch.

Best Budget Gshock you can get!! The electro luminescent Backlight is beautiful too on this model. Also extremely comfortable and high quality. Highly recommend!

Great watch!When I read that Casio had switched the DW5600 from EL to LED I decided to try one out.I've been wearing Seiko divers and Timex Ironman watches in recent years but wore a G Shock in the eighties and nineties. The 3525 module is very intuitive and the LED is great (5 year run time). All the features I need with none that I don't. I'm sure this watch is going to see a lot of wrist time.

Great watch, a classic.Received the update module version (3525)Like the LED light better, you get a longer battery life at about 5 years ( instead of the older one's 2 year) and the light stays on longer also.The adjust button on this model is supposed to be recessed and is not a flaw but a "feature"Believe it has something to do with this watch model being accepted or passed for military use.
