It feels nice in the hands and the force feedback feels amazing and very realistic. The clamp design allows it to still hold onto my desk despite the lip on the bottom, and it is very tight and secure.

I have been looking for a wheel for the past year and a half or so for my PC, as I wanted to get into sim racing.I was trying to decide between two other wheels before finally deciding on the T300RS GT wheel.I will be breaking the review down into the three individual components, the T300 wheel base, the T-3PA GT Pedal Set & the GT wheel which came in the package.T300 Servo Base:=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-My first impression of the servo base was that it was a solid & well built.The T300 servo base does not come with an external power supply. In lieu of an external power supply, the T300 has a built in power supply, along with a cooling fan.There is a power cable, with a strange four tubular connections that come in the package. I am not sure if this electrical cable is proprietary to thrustmaster or if one is readily available at home depot or other home improvement store.The T300 has a dual belt force feed back system. This makes for a smoother, less noisy force feedback experience, as compared to those with gear driven system.From what I have experienced so far, the force feedback is very good. The force feedback not only let's you feel the "weight" of the race car, but also the bumps on the track, that you would otherwise not feel without any sort of force feedback.The package also came with a mounting clamp, should you want to clamp the wheel servo to a desk.It also has mounting holes, should you want to mount the wheel servo on a sim rig, although you would have to source the screws, as thrustmaster does not include screws for this purpose.The desk clamp is a bit finicky to get on, but once on, it holds the wheel servo securely to the desk without the servo wiggling/moving.T-3PA GT Pedal Set=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=The T-3PA GT pedal set which comes in this package is also very solidly built.The pedals have thick plastic arms and an internal metal structure, while the pedal themselves are made from a solid piece of brushed metal.Again, the pedal set that comes in the package has mounting holes on the bottom, should you want to mount them in a sim rig.The pedals are heavy enough to where they do not move around on a plastic mat, which I have set under my computer desk. The only time the pedals move is if I happen to jam on the brake or accelerator suddenly.The pedals themselves feel great underneath your feet. Doesn't take a lot of force to even start braking or accelerating, but these settings can be adjusted in the thrustmaster control panel and in individual sim settings.GT Wheel-=-=-=-=-=The wheel that comes in the package is the GT edition wheel rim.The wheel is made of metal in the middle, where the electronics are housed) encased in rubber around the rim. The shifter is made from either steel or brushed aluminum. Again the rim is solidly made.The rim has thirteen buttons, all configurable in whatever sim you like to play. Unfortunately, thrustmaster does not have an app to where you can program your buttons to the way you like them like logitech does.Conclusion=-=-=-=-=-=Since I bought the T300RS GT edition, it has increased my enjoyment of sim racing as well as truck simulator (Yes I am a virtual trucker). I still ask myself how did I survive playing racing/driving sims on my PC with an xbox controller.If you are looking for a good beginner/intermediate wheel for the sim racer and you have the budget, go with the T300RS GT edition. You will not be disappointed, I sure wasn't.

Very good racing wheel. Great response time and reaction to the terrain on the game. I had been looking at a different brand for a good while but decided on this one last minute and I'm glad I did. The belt drive over gear drive is so much better. Very happy with this.

The media could not be loaded. [Updated Review 2/7/17]My wheel had hardware issue which I haven't seen on any of the forums or reviews. Part of the axis (about half a turn) on the extreme right side of the throw was "missing" which had the effect of making right turns more sensitive to left turns. The wheel would appear to calibrate normally, but the FFB stop would be half a turn too early. I contacted support and they walked me through hardware recalibration of the motor (made no difference), checking drivers, sending them videos etc. They couldn't figure out a remote fix so I sent it to their repair center in Canada under warranty. Support was responsive again this time, generally it would be about 24 hours turnaround for a response. Took about a week of back and forth over email, then another 2.5 weeks to ship out and receive back (they sent me a label, didn't cost me anything). Serial # verifies it was repaired not replaced. The wheel works as advertised now, so I don't see a reason to give a terrible rating, but have to deduct at least 1 star for what appears to be bad build quality and/or quality control. I would probably rate the company as a whole lower, since I've now had 2 Thrustmaster products with issues. But I still like the wheel and I don't think you can get much better than this without a much bigger budget. My brother has an identical one and he's not had any issues.[Original review]I've had this wheel for a few months so far and have had no hardware or software issues with it. It always detects instantly, and I've had no issues with centering or failing FFB like some people have reported. The force feedback is VERY strong when set to be, and very smooth (both game and driver settings can adjust it). I've used it mostly with Assetto Corsa, iRacing, and Beam.NG on the PC. The drivers are straightforward and have a useful FFB test function. I think it’s worth the extra $$$ for the Alcantara material and 3-pedal base. From what I can tell based on my research, this is as good as it gets without going for a Fanatec, and frankly I don’t anticipate needing to upgrade unless I become a professional racer (not likely). Build quality of the servo case is plastic but very sturdy/heavy and I had no issues attaching it to my desk. The pedals stick just fine to my carpeted floor, and the large front area means my feet can rest in a comfortable position even though I'm in a normal chair (as opposed to a cockpit). The wheel attaches semi-permanently (not quick-release like the fanatecs) but would be easy to switch out occasionally or replace.Regarding the wheel options, I was considering buying the Thrustmaster F1 wheel, but I've found this wheel super comfortable for driving all types of cars from street cars to Formula cars. This is my first wheel but I can't imagine going to an all-plastic one after using this.The only strange issue I had was the D-Pad doesn't work in Assetto Corsa, but it works in other games. I suspect it's the game's fault, and I resolved it using Joy2Key to map the button presses to the keyboard.Regarding reliability, I suppose any consumer game controller has a chance of failing, and it’s impossible to judge reliability based on my sample size of 1. I did have a Thrustmaster Cougar MFD device fail, and I dealt with their support department. It was done all online, and involved me uploading to them a video proving that it was broken. After a few back and forth messages (about 3 or 4, with <24hr response time) they sent me a new one within a week. So if you’re in the US and covered by the warranty I feel it’s a pretty safe bet you won’t get totally screwed if you get a defective one. I would rate their support as competent.I feel that it was definitely worth the price I paid, but I definitely regret not waiting until Cyber week since it's now 36% off! At that price it's a definite buy if you’re in the market for a wheel.

With this wheel I can feel more feedback from the car and I can be much precise than before. I've improved my lap times and I can consistently make similar times. I recommend this wheel and it will be a great upgrade if you are coming from a T150.
Be careful with the power outlet
We had to buy twice because we didn’t pay attention to the power and burned it 😑

Great racing wheel! Use it for GT on ps5, and the response is amazing! But I do wish the usb connecting cable was a bit longer

The wheel is really good. It works well, it was packed well!The quality of the wheel is outstanding. I had both Logitech G29 and this one, comparing two of them I would pick Thrustmaster, due to the belt drive and smoothness. (If you are okay with the price.)Quality of Alcantara is really good, but try to use gloves with it. Otherwise the leather will wear off in the future. It's the same with real Alcantara on the real cars.Happy with the purchase.

It blew up as soon as power went on it was purchased brand new now it's smells really bad 👎
