I’ve never actually owned a Samsonite suitcase because they’re always so expensive but over Black Friday weekend this one on sale and ordered it. I just got to use the suitcase for the first time and I had a great experience with it. First of all when standing the suitcase, wheels around amazing and not only does a wheel in every direction, but the wheels feel just that much dirtier than traditional suitcases, making it a breeze to wheel around. But in addition to that, the suitcase itself is really nice and sturdy while also being lightweight and it just made the airport experience so good and I knew that I was able to rest assure that I didn’t have to worry about the suitcase, coming out cracked, which sometimes happens with hard shell suitcases, but not this one.

Fabulous suitcase. You can fit an entire week’s trip in this carry on. Rolls great, durable and comes in cool colors.

The luggage itself is nice looking and very functional. The shipping carton was a little beat up and the resulted in the hard plastic case itself receiving multiple deep scratches. Size is good , wheels spin nicely. Just wish it didn’t look pre-used.

I bought this suitcase to replace my red soft sided Samsonite. I wanted to try out a hard sided case, and I researched hard sided cases thoroughly, along with the newer soft sided ones just to compare. I didn’t see anything superior with soft sided, although I do have a newer 20” purple TravelPro that I adore. Ultimately I was between this one, the Bolo basics hardside, Delsey Chatelet, and Samsonite Omni PC and Winfield 2. This one was rated in most top 5’s. The suitcase rated best on most lists was the hardside models from the company Away, but they are above my price range. I also read the reviews here on Bolo. The Omni PC and Winfield are both beautiful, but the Omni has an inferior plastic top handle that breaks easily, and the Winfield’s glossy case seems to scratch easily. I ultimately decided on this one due to color and pricing. The Bolo basics suitcase is rated well for the price, but unfortunately I really don’t like the looks of it. The Delsey Chatelet is gorgeous, but has limited color choices and is slightly pricier. I also considered the Delsey Paris Helium Air and TravelPro Maxlite Air, which are great looking, but both were not rated well, mostly for sturdiness issues.I loved this suitcase when it came! I like that the shell is matte, and shouldn’t scratch, and the whole shell is sturdy, has lots of pockets and we’ll working zippers, expands, and has a TSA lock. Empty it was very light and the wheels maneuvered easily and seemed sturdy. Packing this thing is awesome to me in comparison to my soft shells. It does need to open completely flat to access both sides, but I didn’t mind that at all throughout my trip. It’s so easy with the two sides - I put clothing in packing cubes in one side, and care case and all other items in the other half. One half zips close completely with a material cover, and the other has the standard suitcase clips. It also has a few different pockets. I was able to fit everything I needed with ease for a 7-day trip. It doesn’t flex quite as much as a soft shell, but I actually found that to be an advantage - it doesn’t allow you to overpack.I checked this suitcase round trip on a weeklong trip to Florida, and it held up beautifully. I didn’t notice any damage to the case, and it’s so light and easy to maneuver. It rolled with ease in the airport and out on the street. It goes up curbs without a hitch, and is easy on escalators. It has a sturdy handle on top and on the side. Zippers are holding up great so far. I can’t see myself buying another soft sided suitcase if this holds up for awhile. I love it!! The only thing I can’t rate it on is longevity, as I’ve only taken it on one trip. I’d like to say “I’ll update if this review changes, but we all know that won’t happen!” :)

The luggage is super smooth, easy to use, hold lots of things when you're traveling. I've never used a suitcase before with the wheels being able to move around that fast. Definitely great quality for the price.

I finally said “enough!” with soft side luggage and cloth roller bags. I turned to Samsonite because, well, Samsonite. I’ve taken this mighty purple girl on planes (as a carryon and checked), trains, and automobiles. She survived, of course, with nary a nick.When expanded, she carries quite a bit more! Perfect for the trip home when you've accumulated souvenirs!The lock is easy to maneuver. VERY lightweight. Sturdy handle. Highly recommend.

I bought this suitcase because it had a high Consumer Reports score and was recommended. I bought it for its lightweight, and its clean, slick look. It's roomy and i was able to fit three weeks of clothes for a cruisetour vacation. It proved to be lightweight and easy to move around.I am however not happy with the durability of the hard shell. I took it on one vacation and between checking the bag on one leg of the trip and it being transferred between hotels, the shell is very scratched and scuffed. The suitcase looks like it has been used for years! I'm very disappointed at this because I carefully researched for the best suitcase and now I'm stuck with a bag that looks like crap after only one vacation.I would consider one that's more durable next time. I might even get a new one sooner than later

Great size, durable, expandable. Very good quality for the price point- and it will be well tested for sturdiness.Like the expandable feature, as this is a hard cover case.

Superb. Just the right size for 2 weeks away. Great expansion function, looks really cool. Super easy to wheel around. Very robust with a great lock. Faultless. Reduces the risk of some plonker picking up the wrong bag on the carousel due to the unique colour. Superb.
