Nice material, came well-packaged in a 6’ box, and was an easy installation. Be aware that you will receive ONE 6’ piece, not a “lot of 21” as stated at the top, even though Bolo confirmed a 21-piece shipment before purchase. Not surprised, but they should edit the listing.Anyway, this stuff seems very well made and should last much longer than the standard foam insulation. The photo shows it before wrapping with UV-resistant line-set tape. Even though this insulation is better-protected than regular foam, the tape will make it last even longer. As most seem to do, I sealed the area where it enters the house with steel wool and a lot of gray putty… both cheap and effective. No specialty, preposterously-expensive ugly housings required.

My insulation was starting to fall apart, and the line was starting to be exposed. I’ve read mixed reviews. Some people say this does not make a big difference having it insulated, but others do. The quality of this replacement is excellent. It has tape on the inside and then an extra layer of tape on the outside so it is definitely 100% insulated. I live in Florida where it’s hot so I’m sure this is going to help.

Great product. Super easy to install. Removed the old, weather-worn insulation and popped this on. In total took less than 10 minutes. I like the extra material to cover the seam, worked like a charm. I plan to wrap in UV tape as well for added protection. This looks 1000% better than what was on there before.

It works as expected. It seals with two sided tape and then has an additional tape the wraps around the insulation. It was shipped in a very large box. That way, the tubing stayed mostly straight.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Very useful product for sealing the pipes on external AC units. Super thick and offers a high insulation factor. The cost is pretty high for the size of the insulation that you receive. While the insulation has great adhesives for closing them you only get one shot at using them and if you incidentally come in contact with something else freeing it can be challenging and also damages the product.

Excellent insulated cover for my outdoor AC cooling line:- Soft and flexible so I was able to maneuver it around the pipe in its' confines.- Inside and outside sticky tape on the product made it easy to secure once it was fitted.- Easy to install

Not just great quality but super easy to install. Plus the seller sent me a message to verify how many I actually wanted just to make sure so that was great service. The order was correct but I appreciate when people go the extra mile to make sure my order was correct. Also, I could not find these in the hardware stores nor the big box stores so I was really glad to get them.
