I bought this for an unusual reason. I needed to seal up a room. We moved into a rental and our bedroom is in the renovated basement. Because they couldn't build directly under the garage, we had a door that led to an unfinished basement space (under the garage). It was horrid! Spiders and dust everywhere and those spiders were getting into our bedroom. In addition, it was a terrible draft coming from the room through the door. It kept our room freezing in the winter. So we decided to just use this drop cloth to seal the room, but stapling the cloth to the door frame on the inside and I used duct tape at the bottom since it was concrete. So far it's working well. I haven't seen any critters (as of yet-been about a month) and there's no draft at all. The real test, of course, will be when winter comes round again, but we've had few cold days and so far so good.I'm sure this works well for traditional uses too. It's not very thick, but I'm not sure you need it to be just to keep paint or dust off things.

We used this to cover the floor in a small bedroom while painting. It worked great with the painters tape we used to stick it to the wall and it prevented paint from getting on the carpet. We did not reuse it because it got beat up over the course of our project but we will consider buying it again in the future if needed.

Durable. Use it to cover our bed everyday, so that we can let our cats wander with no fear of them peeing on the bed. Much easier to sanitize a drop cloth than it is to have to strip and clean a bed. Practical solution as opposed to having to find a new home for the cat!

Perfect size to cover our couch. We use this to prevent having to clean our couch cushions every time the cat decides to puke up on it when we're asleep or not at home. It doesn't seem like it's quite 1mm thick though. It's very thin and probably won't survive the cat's claws for long. I'll probably get a thicker one next time. Also, the one we got is clear, not opaque like some other reviews mentioned.

This cloth had held up for a few days now, not letting any paint through. My friend has even when shoes on it and I've only found a hole twice because of me pulling on tape.

The size was amazing, the thickness was perfect, and it wasn't cheap material. Other cloths I have used have ripped halfway while painting a room. I painted 2 rooms and this cloth was still able to be used. Would definitely use again.
