Good clean ingredients. It dissolves better than I anticipated. I poured a cup and half in about 12 ounces of milk shook it up and it was pretty much so completely mixed in. Definitely is not a strong chocolate flavor but it's perfect in my opinion. If you're looking for a healthy protein powder with high quality whey. I'd say this is the way to go.

me and my girlfriend started using this protein a year ago it was always delish, we got chocolate, recently we decided to get a subscribe and save we liked it so much. our first s&s batch literally tasted like nothing, sour milk flavor if anything. we thought no big deal lets call promix and see what they have to say. they denied anything has changed and that batch to batch can differ a little bit, sent us a fresh bag for free ( it was a little better but definatley not the same as it first was about a year ago) .... well then i went on Bolo to see what other people were saying.... HOLY COW! everyone notices this stuff tastes horrible now!!! the worse part ? promix acting like nothing is different!!! i just got my second subsribe and save in yesterday and wow it might be getting worse! you guys have batches of chocolate that are orange and some that are brown ,, anyone on the fence about buying this brand look at other one star reviews with pics to see for yourself, plenty posted. how could a company not quality control the batches before they go out?!?! let alone not listen to hundreds of customers complaining!!!! NEVER BUYING AGAIN!!!

***Current update (3/25/25)***: I've gotten an updated batch several months later, and it's back to being the product I knew and loved! Be reassured that previous reviews that complain about it being worse was really just one bad batch.I feel relieved, I really don't want to try any alternatives. I've updated back to 5 stars. This is the best protein to buy, I start every day with it for breakfast! (and I do NOT like powdered protein)----***Previous update***: As all of the most recent reviews reflect, this otherwise great product (Chocolate Whey specifically -- see the rest of my review below) had a bad batch that they're still shipping, it looks like. Their customer service was great & very quick to issue me a refund when I complained about it. I'll update my review once I've confirmed that the chocolate whey is good again (once I'm game to test it again, probably in February or March 2025). I bought their "chocolate peanut butter" whey in the meantime and it seems to be fine for me for now, but I want my chocolate powder! This bad batch number is MM22824P1356.-----***General product review***: I've bought this from Bolo "16 times", according to Bolo, but I'd just say I've otherwise lost count. The chocolate whey powder has become a daily staple / part of my breakfast. I used to think whey powder was gross, but this I can drink. I've even gotten three other people to try it (I travel with it for breakfasts on the road) and they literally ordered it afterward.

not a nutritionist but the protein taste decent. i have been using an blender and no issues with dissolving. Taste is of real chocolate, not sweet at all. The bag is awful though. has the smallest seal and it wont seal correctly.

I use protein shakes on a daily basis to maintain muscle mass and avoid overeating. I used to be taking Optimum Nutrition brand, however I wasn't happy with its industrial-acid washing-process. Now I'm happy to have found a more natural product-according to its manufacturer's claim which I hope is true.The flavor is not something palatable to everybody since it tastes like raw whey( which I expected it to be since I think natural flavorings are not as strong as artificial ones). So in my opinion it's gonna take time for its users to get used to it. Also, it has a chalky filling which I believe is not a big deal.In addition, it doesn't blend as fast as other products which I think is because of natural cocoa, but again is not a big deal to me.About ingredient quality at this time I can't tell so much since I've been using it for a very short time.Overall I give 5 star for the hard work you put in to compete with industrial giants out there who don't so much care for their consumers. Please keep it up and God bless small businesses.

I had really high hopes for this Protein Powder. I am a big fan of the clean ingredients and had seen this promoted constantly on Social Media. Unfortunately I think I have fallen for yet another product pushed by influencers that doesn't live up to any of the hype. I have used tons of different clean protein powders on the market and I can honestly say this is by far with no close second the worst tasting protein powder I have ever tried. May wife couldn't even handle the smell. I reached out to the company to genuinely see if I go a bad batch of the product and was told that they do not honor Bolo orders with a refund or replacement. I was genuinely wondering if I got a bad batch and was willing to give it another try but the response back was to dismiss me all together since I didn't order from their website. They did confirm that the Bolo product is indeed theirs however. I will not be ordering this again. Terrible protein and customer service.
