IT. IS APT! This stand accommodates my needs so well that this is my second purchase after using the first one daily for 4 years without a hitch.General: I use this stand with a 5th gen iPad (9.4” x 6.6”) and an assortment of various sized cell phones.Pro:1. Again… Beefy. Heavy duty, great build quality, you can just feel it. Even the plastic cradle feels beefy. I’ve owned my first one since 2019 and have probably inserted/removed a device into and manipulated the articulated cradle at least twice daily in that time span with ZERO problems. That’s almost 3,000 times! Even the resistance of the springs inside the cradle feel as though they’re brand new. I’ve even traveled across the country with it 3 times, as unwieldy as it is.2. You can view the cradle/device from the front or back, but it’s been my experience that when viewing it from the back the base SOMETIMES needed to be counterweighted. The cradle also spins a full 360°, and the edges of the cradles, the parts that actually grasp your device, are rubber coated to securely hold your device and they also obscure zero percent of your device's screen.3. It’s big, but amazingly lightweight. Behold the power of aluminum.4. Relatively stylish. I bought one for permanent use on my nightstand, and it doesn’t look too out of place or tacky as a permanent fixture.Cons:1. Price? I question this con because, if it were any cheaper, would the quality be less than it is now? I have no idea about the value of iPad holders, it just feels like this one is a little pricey… even though I bought one… and then bought another one 4 years later. Maybe it’s not a bad value. Don’t forget the old adage… you get what you pay for.2. Footprint? I question this one as well because, if the size were any smaller, or streamlined, again, would the device suffer? It’s definitely unwieldy,, but maybe that’s by design.Summary:This is an excellent device holder and I would definitely recommend it anyone. This is an updated review. We initially gave this one star because it is advertised to work with an iPad Mini, however that is not exactly true. There is no ability to plug in smaller ~8" tablets while in the stand, and access to the home button is partially blocked. We felt a bit ripped off because we are using our iPad mini as a Square P.O.S. terminal and this stand didn't work for that.After contacting AboveTEK with our concerns, they immediately made it right by refunding our purchase and shipping us a newer product that works perfectly for us. This excellent customer service prompted us to update the review because the stand is actually gorgeous and perfect for larger tablets, with a solid grip and heavy base. If they had simply included an opening in the gripping clamp for a cable to pass through, it would be a five star product. Seller: please update the description to include this crucial information.

This stand was such a beautiful purchase! It’s great when using your tablet for sales - the head rotates 360, and flips all the way backwards and forward. It’s versatile for home use! I don’t have issues with balance, or weight. Placing my tablet on and removing it is also super easy and cannot damage or scratch the sides.

I am replacing one I couldn't readjust, and it got stuck that way. Not everyone will have this problem; my hands are very arthritic, so when it's vertical I kinda hold my breath since I have it set up to be horizontal. As mentioned, it is top-heavy with my iPad, but once being aware of that it is easy to just be careful... I do deeply resent the artificial price hike, however. This isn't "new and improved." It's just the rip-off we've all experienced no matter what we buy..

Bought this intended only as a gift for my boyfriend, but was surprised when it came, the overall quality looks the same as on the picture, really feel like I should use it myself.First impression out the box, looks and feels very sturdy and high quality, clean packaging reminds me those of apple products. Its aluminum base feels pretty rigid and especially elegant, nice pairing with my mac in terms of style and material. those general plastic stand is ok to use, but this metal one really wins my heart with the simple and sleek design.Function wise, the two holders are pretty versatile for both my mini and pro. They clip pretty tight though, better than I expected that no slippery feel. Have tried different viewing angles and rotate the clamps in various direction and works fine so far. Really like the fact when turning my ipads, it has this good damping feel, which is not loose at all, but also not too tight very good quality.So far I have used it for watch movies, feels convenient when I constantly switch btw portrait or landscape. Will definitely use it for multitasking along with mac, I really needed something that is not wobbly during typing and other operations and look neat at the same time, this stand serves my purpose. Pretty nice product, tried it with my iphone plus, the smaller holder can even grab it, really like the detailed finish

Good with iPad Pro 12.9’, sturdy and good looking
I’ve been meaning to get an iPad stand to hold my iPad Pro 12.9’ up while I code on my laptop, so I could look at the notes I made on the iPad without constantly looking down. The iPad cover can only support it horizontally but not vertically and not at a good enough angle for me, and not high enough on the desk either.I’ve had a look around on Bolo and the other sellers, but I had concerns for the stands not sturdy enough and the clamps not wide enough to hold my 12.9’, some don’t even have clamps with just a hold at the bottom and I fear for its instability and iPad falling off.The other consideration is the price, I’m not willing to pay almost 50 quid for some metal sticks that don’t even seem sturdy enough to hold anything, and this particular stand looks at least promising with its wide leg support.I’m very satisfied with this stand when I received it and assembled it(only took me one minute), the clamps are plastic but very good quality, and the metal support is extremely stable and no sign of falling over by any means.The only problem is there would be no place for the Apple Pencil to magnetically connect to the side due to the placement of the clamp, but I’ve found that it would still work if I put the iPad really low so there’s space left for the pencil. It’s no big deal though especially if you don’t even have a stylus pen for the tablet, but I thought I would still mention it.Would recommend to anyone looking for a sturdy stand for tablets with bigger screens(there’s a smaller sized clamp included as well).

Emballage assez compact.Vient avec 2 attache pour taille tablette (grand GSM éventuellement) de tout sorte. L'iPad standard 9" va avec le plus petit attache des 2. Ça s'attache avec un petit vis (outillage fourni) et vous êtes prêt. Facile à pivoter vertical, horizontal, mais à deux mains, sans démontage.Le pied est en métal qui donne une bonne stabilité, mais pas lourde. Le pince par contre est en plastique blanc avec un couchouc gris (dommage, c'est le seulle chose que j'aime pas) Attention: Ne serre pas le vis d'attache avec tout votre force, ca peut casser le plasique. En gros, je suis content et alors à ce prix là, j'en ai déjà acheté 12 pcs :)

Ich bin ja immer auf der Suche nach praktischen Zubehört für mein Ipad und anderes Equipment technischer Art. Der „AboveTEK Eleganter Tablet Stand, Aluminium iPad Stand Halter“ hat es mir aber angetan, bekommt man doch für relativ kleines Geld einen wirklich durchdachten und schönen Stand der zudem sehr praktisch ist, aber fangen wir mal an:Verpackung / Montage / erster EindruckDie Verpackung kam schnell bei mir an, natürlich ist das Ganze aus China (was man auch unschwer an den (wohl mit Google Übersetzer) gemachten Texten hier auf Bolo erkennen kann der hier bei uns zuhause schon für einige Brüller gesorgt hat (kann man nicht einfach mal das Geld investieren und nen Muttersprachler texten lassen ? Aber egal das soll uns nicht stören, der Stand an sich ist selbsterklärend und man keine Anleitung unbedingt.Einzig der Haltkopf (oder „Zwinge“ wie man es nennen will) muss montiert werden, der Packung liegen zwei größen bei, je nachdem ob man ein großes Tablet wie ich (Ipad Pro 12,9“) oder ein eher kleines hat, mindesten 7“ benötigt man an Tabletgröße damit es hält, max. ist 13“.Die Montage ist in wenigen Minuten erledigt und das Gerät einsatzbereit. Durch die 700 Gramm die es wiegt macht es auch einen standsicheren und guten Eindruck, eigentlich macht alles einen sehr gut verarbeiteten Eindruck, für um die 40 Euro wirklich in Ordnung !Funktionen / Erfahrungen / AlltagIch nutze in der Regel den Stand wenn ich mit der Familie in der Küche was gucken will, zum Beispiel Fussball mit unseren Sohn, dann hat sich die leicht erhöhte Position bewährt. Auch zum Anschließen eines externen Keyboards und Maus um das Ipad als Tablet zu nutzen hat sich der Stand bewährt.Sehr gut ist, dass man das Tablet sowohl im Quer als auch im Hochformat aufstellen kann, es ist 360° Drehbar und nach oben und unten neigbar. Alles hält sehr sicher und die „Zwinge“ hält mit ihren starken Federn das Tablet bombenfest, ohne das es zu Beschädigungen am Tablet kommt, da hatte ich am Anfang ein wenig Angst, aber es stellte sich als unbegründet heraus.Der Stand wird seitdem regelmäßig genutzt und hat sich im Alltag bewährt, für die 40 Euro die ich bezahlt habe wirklich in Ordnung, Abnutzungserscheinungen oder größere Probleme gab es nicht. Nur in der Höhe ist der Stand leider nicht verstellbar, aber dafür gibt es ja andere Befestigungsmöglichkeiten wie Tischklemmen mit Schwenkarmen die aber auch einiges teurer sind (wenn man gute haben will)Fazit:Für um die 40 Euro kann man hier nichts falsch machen, gut verarbeitet für Tablet Computer von 7“ -13“ und sehr praktisch. Mehr erwarte ich von so einem Stand nicht. Deshalb max. Punktzahl !

Durch die 700 Gramm die es wiegt macht es auch einen standsicheren und guten Eindruck, eigentlich macht alles einen sehr gut verarbeiteten Eindruck, für um die 40 Euro wirklich in Ordnung !Funktionen / Erfahrungen / AlltagIch nutze in der Regel den Stand wenn ich mit der Familie in der Küche was gucken will, zum Beispiel Fussball mit unseren Sohn, dann hat sich die leicht erhöhte Position bewährt. Auch zum Anschließen eines externen Keyboards und Maus um das Ipad als Tablet zu nutzen hat sich der Stand bewährt.Sehr gut ist, dass man das Tablet sowohl im Quer als auch im Hochformat aufstellen kann, es ist 360° Drehbar und nach oben und unten neigbar. Alles hält sehr sicher und die „Zwinge“ hält mit ihren starken Federn das Tablet bombenfest, ohne das es zu Beschädigungen am Tablet kommt, da hatte ich am Anfang ein wenig Angst, aber es stellte sich als unbegründet heraus.Der Stand wird seitdem regelmäßig genutzt und hat sich im Alltag bewährt, für die 40 Euro die ich bezahlt habe wirklich in Ordnung, Abnutzungserscheinungen oder größere Probleme gab es nicht. Nur in der Höhe ist der Stand leider nicht verstellbar, aber dafür gibt es ja andere Befestigungsmöglichkeiten wie Tischklemmen mit Schwenkarmen die aber auch einiges teurer sind (wenn man gute haben will)Fazit:Für um die 40 Euro kann man hier nichts falsch machen, gut verarbeitet für Tablet Computer von 7“ -13“ und sehr praktisch. Mehr erwarte ich von so einem Stand nicht. Deshalb max. Punktzahl !
