We preserve and enhance the aromas through our patented pressurized cans. Patented in 1934 by illy, pressurization is a preservation system in which the air in the tin is replaced by an inert gas at a pressure greater than that of the atmosphere. In this way, not only is the freshness of our coffee maintained, but its aroma is also enhanced. Illy is one of my favorite industrial coffee. Based in Triest Italy it has never ceased to grow and improve to become one of the most famous Italian brand for coffee. Marketing and communication helped a lot and any kind of new packaging, product and accessory from them is a hit everywhere in the world. That being said my favotite coffee are the red, black and their Brasil/Ethiopia etc. collection. I love the way they torrefy to make it so tasty and strong. Moreover I love the foam on the surface when the coffee comes out of my old espresso machine. Here in the USA 250gr of Illy cost the double than in Europe so when my husband saw this set of 6 at such a great price it did not take 5 seconds to add it to the cart. The packaging design is the "old" one as Illy came out with a new one recently. Who cares? This lot is not expired so if you want a strong Italian coffee at a good price do not hesitate. The red line is good for espresso machine/ moka!

Opened within 30 days of receipt of product and ALL SIX CANS are already expired. Return window is closed. Extremely disappointed. I will be cancelling my auto renewal immediately. Would give zero stars if I could.
