I have been suffering from symptoms of hypothyroidism ~ fatigue, dry skin & hair, feeling cold, unexplained weight gain, and really most importantly for me subfertility. My blood work was borderline and since I’m trying to conceive the doctor wanted to hold off on prescribing an additional medication and do repeat bloodwork in a few months.This was very aggravating to me because a. I have all the symptoms my mom cousins and aunt have and they all have & are being treated for hypothyroidism, b. I believe this condition is negatively affecting my fertility, c. the symptoms are definitely negatively affecting my life.But back on the subject of these pills a friend who suffers from both thyroid & fertility issues recommended I find a supplement with Magnesium, Selenium, Zinc, and iodine. I found this which has all of the above and more. I’m about 6 weeks in on taking them and I’m seeing some degree of improvement to most of my individual symptoms and I definitely feel better in general.So I am very hopeful that Thyroid Support Supplement has helped my body start to naturally balance out my hormone/ thyroid issues.As to the pill itself it’s a little on the big size but it goes down easy with no bad after taste.

I have been taking this on and off for two weeks now and I can definitely feel and see a difference. For starters, I have a much easier time getting up in the morning, and have much more energy than I used to; mornings have always been especially difficult for me, not only because I am tired but also because I feel cold. This has helped with both.Also, I started gaining weight for literally the first time in my life earlier this summer, and that was part of my motivation for taking this. I have not only stop gaining weight but have lost one pound in the two weeks since I started taking these, and that's with not even taking them every single day.The reason I can only give this product 4 stars, however, and not 5 is an important one, so listen up:After taking this product every day for a week I started experiencing some nausea and noticed that my mood was unstable. Small negative stimuli felt huge to me, and I would become unduly angry or unduly depressed over minor things. So I did a bit of research and learned that the amino acid in this increases dopamine, which is supposed to make you feel good, right?Except there's this OTHER amino acid called 5HTP that regulates serotonin, another thing your body and mind need to feel good. Apparently L-Tyrosine, the amino acid in this product, and 5HTP go to war with one another. Therefore, one really ought not to take one without the other.The recommended balance is a 10 to 1 ratio, so for instance, when taking one of these-- which is 300 mg of L-Tyrosine-- in the morning, on an empty stomach (as recommended), one should ALSO take (in the evening, right before eating) 30mg of 5HTP. This will not only ensure that your mood remains stable but also improve your metabolism, which is presumably why you're taking L-Tyrosine in the first place.Since I made this discovery I have ordered 5-HTP, but have not yet received it.So I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I think it's irresponsible of this company to not outline this for customers up front. Playing with amino acids without having all the necessary facts about how they interact with one another is dangerous. No one should be taking this without 5HTP or vice-versa.

I admit, I was a tad skeptical but after a week there has been a remarkable change in my energy level and that alone makes it worth the purchase! Exercise and diet just was not enough to battle low thyroid levels, so I figure it couldn't hurt to at least try a support supplement. I hate thyroid meds, they make me feel like crap, maybe because it is synthetic. My insurance will not cover anything else. This is exactly what I need. I am not saying to avoid thyroid meds, that is not the takeaway here! Talk to your doctor! If one week made me feel better, I cannot wait to see where I at physically in 30 days. Definitely will continue to by this product.
