Bought the XXL mostly because one of my boys is 100lbs and goes into what I call 4 wheel mode; he pulls hard. I’m 140lb chick and I cannot let him off leash in our backyard that is fenced because he will rush the fence and go ape. He will drag me if there is enough dew on the grass or snow. He has anxiety issues and is reactive, yes he’s on meds and is being trained. I am happy with the durability of the tie out so far. It was super easy to use. I attach it to his harness, no dog can “slip out” of a tie out if used properly and with a correct fitting harness. I do bring it in if it appears we will have storms as I’m unwilling to test any rust proof quality. I have wrapped it once around a good sized (can’t wrap arms totally around it, I’m 5’5” of that helps) sturdy tree in our backyard and use a climbers carabiner clip with a twist lock to secure it to the tree. He still has room to walk and do his business. This also allows him to safely observe any passers by and work on his anxiety via exposure. I recommend this as I have had zero issues with the product.

I got the 15ft cable for 30lbs. It has lasted well being used at home & for travel. The plastic coating has so far held up and the claps are still working pretty smoothly. Works for dogs who run or for owners who want an extra peace of mind.

Works great for my dogs. They do wear after a bit. My fault because I leave them outside in cold weather. Once the plastic wears the wire frays…be careful!

Went on vacation and gave my fat dog to my parents for 7 days. Used a tie out with a combination of this dog cable and it worked flawless. My dog loves to throw his weight around and run and this cable held up just fine with zero issues. Would 100% recommend!

The cable was long enough for 80+ lb rotties to move around and kept them in the yard without any complications. My only complaint would be if the coating comes off, the frayed cable can poke you.

Just received this today & it seems very strong, heavyI think this will work well for my 100lb Cane Corso grand-doggie comes for a visit!......Update this worked very well just wanted to add very strong & easily hooks up to collar.Good buy!

Perfect! And strong enough for my Old English Bulldogge
I'm so happy with this product. It was easy to setup by myself. I would suggest using a wratchet.. must faster and easier to tighten bolts. Pulley glides smoothly on guide wire. My dog is all muscle and she can't bugde this thing if she reaches the limit of her reach lol. Still gives her plenty of room to roam and explore. As you can see in my pics, it is recommended to use a harness and not a collar so the dog does not choke.
This one really is heavy duty
Bought several other brands, some claiming to be stronger than this but compromised by attachments made of toffee. This one has the thickest cable and by far the strongest more escape proof attachments.
Good price; Good Quality
This was perfect size for my 20 lb Beagle... good price.... good quality... I bought the lighter version as well... but it’s a bit 2 thin.... would be perfect for a cat though. Very happy with purchase.Have bought these styles of cable before... over time (a few months) they do crack and bend... but we use ours daily... we just purchase a new one.
