I don’t think I’ve ever bought sugar that wasn’t a Domino. Basically the standard for all granulated sugar.

I love Domino Granulated Sugar this is quality and recipes come out so delicious. Delivery on this item was go GREAT and the the 'DEALER" of this item , I was so impress that it came in a "plastic container" so the sugar would not tear the package, I certainly would buy again from this company.

It was sugar like any other. The great thing was the container. I order things like this from Bolo when I can't get them from Walmart--shipping problems that involve spiils, breakage, or damaged product. More expensive this way but at least I get it in my very rural community.

I paid a little extra just because I love this cannister. I had one before, but a neighbor needed to borrow a cup of sugar, and like a fool, I took the entire canister to her. She threw it away on me! Lesson learned. The sugar is the same great Domino sugar I use all the time, and the canister can be reused forever, it is very sturdy.

Sugar came in a smaller squarish container which only held 3.5 lbs of sugar. Sugar itself was fine. Fermented well in wine. Tastes normal. Just disappointed round container pictured was not what was sent.

, which is of a round, yellow plastic tub that has a convenient hand hold shape on one side and an easy to remove plastic lid of the sort you see on the top of a Pringles can, only larger.I purchased THIS product rather than getting sugar in a bag from the store - for FAR LESS MONEY - because I wanted the container pictured. I wanted my sugar in a plastic tub that would not leak sugar all over my pantry, with a hand-hold that I can easily grip with one hand, and which has a fully removable lid to make getting access to the sugar easy and convenient.The product I actually received came in a squarish, white plastic container with NO hand-hold to grip it by. The lid itself is a hard plastic that levers open like the hood of a car, and has hard, sharp plastic edges and corners. To make matters worse, I can't even remove the lid entirely, which means the opening is smaller than I want.The container itself is too larger for me to grip easily in one hand without the built-in handle that the pictured container includes. Furthermore, the lid design is terrible. I keep scraping my hands on it every time I try to scoop sugar out of it. Had I known I was getting a different container from the one pictured, I would not have purchased it. Had I been able to return it, I would have.On top of all that, it's only 3.5 pounds of sugar rather than the 4 pounds listed in the product description. While a redesign of the container *might* be forgivable - after all, most people will be buying it for the contents more than the container - advertising it as 4 pounds when it's really only 3.5 is outright lying to the consumer.

I mean...it's sugar, so not much to review flavor wise, but I have to comment on the super cool container, which is reusable. It has a cool handle in the back and I'm keeping the plastic container and finding something to do with it:-)
